Staff was amazing. The guy who helped us was very friendly. They had a backdrop for 2023 and they said we could take pictures. They even offered to take pictures. The food was very good. I’ve had chicken mole at other places and this one was my favorite. The meat was shredded.

Receipt says “ Cocina Mexicana”. This place looks to have change Mgmt/owners again?? Redecorated but m not sure what they are going for? When it was Casa Moreno it’s looked much better with a truly separate bar area. Now it’s wide open again. Came for lunch, we were the only two in the entire place. Atmosphere is off-putting, just so large, wide open, high ceiling, modest/little decor.

This is a great hidden gem with good vibes and ambiance, just a little off the beaten path of 38th Street chain restaurants. Great customer service and we had one of the most incredible fresh Jalapeño Margarita’s on our second visit, thanks to our wonderful waitress who accommodated our request.

My boyfriend and I went here last night and unfortunately..everything we had was just not good. The enchiladas I got were super small and tasted weird. The beans definitely came out of a can and even the rice was off. My boyfriend got the chile colorado and there was no flavor and the meat was 90% fat. When we asked for another margarita..the waitress said she would have to reuse our original glasses because “they were out”. The whole experience was weird and we will definitely not be back…especially not for $111 before tip.

Had the shrimp burrito. I swapped out the burrito sauce for their enchilada sauce. Their rice and beans and sauce was the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I will go back for sure. Their chips and salsa was good as well. Service was good but they are extremely slow at preparing your meal. But worth the.wait!! My only negative would be they don’t give you much beans and rice.

Food is amazing, would of gave a 5! The enchiladas shells was not steamed enogh for me! I’m a Chef of 27 yrs so everything else was on point! Service was outstanding. Worth checking out for sure.

This place was a not good at all. I’m assuming their focus is the after hours activity because the food quality was for sure a 1 out of 10. The beans taste like they came from a can and possibly an old one, and I had bubble guts before I could even finish paying. The best thing I had here was my can of sprite and our waitress she was very nice. The food was just so so bad.
