Visited Jackpine on snowmobile and while getting to the establishment wasn’t real easy via sled the food was good. I had the chicken avocado wrap with seasoned fries and it was very good. Service was fast and friendly and I would definitely visit again when in the area. Their menu had a ton of options for your hunger.

Waited along time before waitress brought us menus,I asked what was on burger special she ran to board came back told me its a northern burger but not what is on it.then left.waited another 10 min.before they took our order.Ordered a cup of soup received a bowl and no crackers.Awhile after we ordered the waitress came up to us and said we are out of the lunch special we said what was that?She said hot dish we said we ordered a burger and hand cut fries and a buffalo chicken sandwich with hand cut fries and a cup of soup.There was only one other couple in there eating and they were eating already.Then another couple arrived 20 min.after we ordered and they ordered salad and a burger and got theres before us.We never got silverware,napkins,ketchup.The Waitress never once asked if we needed anything or how meal was. She asked if we wanted chicken grilled or fried and we said fried and it was small,flat and dried up.Had better chicken sandwiches in gas station.Burger looked good but it was tasteless and we both ordered hand cut homemade fries but only one of us got the homemade ones.Ham vegetable soup had ham,carrots,celery and broth Waitress never came back to table to Ask if everything was ok.Wont be going back.Too much money for horrible service and food.

The meat pattie was on the smaller size for a Patty Melt, and the bread, typically, is rye or marble and not white, but overall, the sandwich was okay and the hand-cut fries were great. Great place for lunch or dinner.

About the only place to eat in town some interesting decor for sure. Burgers were decent. Their Hawaiian burger isn’t a typical one and I personally wouldn’t recommend it. Everything else was pretty good though. Bathroom is about the size of an outhouse so if you have kids that could be interesting.

We got there around 1 pm and they were pretty busy. The waitress came over right away to sanitize the table. We both had the special, the fries were hot and done perfectly. The bacon cheeseburger was excellent too. The portions were all a good size.
