We showed up on a Monday night, unaware that they close at 8:30. But Leo totally took care of us. The steam trays out front were almost empty, but he asked us what we like, and he pulled a few delicious dishes together. Beef stew was tender and flavorful. Grilled shrimp with avocado and rice was perfect. Love that seasoning. And the fried chicken for my son was super delicious (I snuck a bite). Thank you Leo, we were very satisfied!!

I am in North Bergen and the food arrived cold (delivery). The white rice was hard, and the beans were cold. I also had a pechugita mofongo, can’t go wrong with mofongo right? WRONG! This was the saltiest, spiciest mofongo I’ve ever eaten and it had all types of green leaves mashed in, could have been cilantro but it was horrible. My son didn’t even eat his rice and beans, said it tasted funny. Would definitely NOT recommend this place! If I could have written a review without adding one star I would of.

Stopped by this place and was greeted with a smile. I got the stew chicken with yellow rice. It was delicious. The meat fell off the bone easily and the rice was delicious. Would definitely come back.
