The restaurant is in a good location but when you enter you Can’t help but notice how drab the restaurant is. Black table covers guys? Not sure if that is a great color to go with for a breakfast and lunch place. Black is more appropriate for a dinner setting. I was there to pick up a “to go” order that I called in before 11am. The restaurant offers a .99c breakfast taco special with two eggs “al gusto” which means anyway you would like the eggs, as in 2 eggs mixed with anything you want. I got a potato and egg and a chorizo and egg. After trying to charge me wrong twice the person at the counter finally just charged me the .99c for each. BTW there was just one (1) sole customer sitting down eating at the restaurant. I got my food and left but by the time I got to the car the bag was already exuding a bunch of grease. The person at the restaurant said that they were big tacos. When I got home to see, yes the tortilla itself was a good size, but the ingredients were not. The potato and egg had no flavor other than oil, the potato was not fully cooked and there was definitely not two eggs in this taco. One small egg maybe medium, maybe. But definitely not two eggs. The same with the chorizo taco, not two eggs and chorizo was really really greasy and and completely saturated with grease. The bright spot for these tacos were the tortilla, it was made right and the salsa was good, if it weren’t for the salsa the tacos would not have very much flavor. There is a lot of room for improvement.
