What a great place for healthy eats and a fun vibe in an active locale of Del Mar! Plenty of seating inside and out. Great Vegan and Vegetarian items as well as fun eats for meat eaters etc. Beer & Wine options are available. I went for late lunch and parking was easy but might be busier closer to normal lunchtime. They also have an app to download for deals and rewards for purchases. I received a coupon for free appetizer after I used the app the first time for an order!

We rented space at this location for a party of 55 and could not have been more pleased with how it turned out! Ashley, the event manager, was super accommodating and friendly. Every dish was delicious. It has such a cute, fun atmosphere. Would highly recommend the Flower Child in Del Mar for future events and catering needs!

Was looking for a healthy place for a quick bite while passing through. They have a small menu but enough options to satisfy most. The offered Gluten Free/Vegan and I believe DF options. The food was very good with a good blend of flavors. Service was friendly and fast. The prices and serving sizes were fair. The location was food, just finding parking was challenging, not impossible but challenging. I would go back if was in the area again.

This place is cute. The energy is very calm and relaxing, so a fairly good place to sit and enjoy a chat with a friend over lunch. However, I wouldn’t say the food is stellar. Given the price, about $25/person, I would say it’s fine for fast casual, but the draw here is really more the atmosphere.

We love flower child because it caters to everyone, has delicious food and has a menu that allows you to customize your food. Plus, their gluten free cookies are freaking amazing!! We’ve been to their Charlotte, NC location and their Del Mar, CA location. You’re going to get the same experience and food at any of their locations, except you will find very slight variations of the dishes because they make the food fresh, to order and cooked by chefs, rather than a fast food approach.
