After taking a foodie group Facebook poll for the best fried chicken in Washington County, Countryside Deli won by a landslide. I trusted the community and ordered 75 pieces for my soon to be 1st grandson’s baby shower. The community did not steer me wrong. Not only was the fried chicken fantastic and gone by the end of the shower, but every staff person interacted with was pleasant and very helpful (from the lady who took my order over the phone, to the guys preparing the chicken.) They timed it perfectly, having it freshly made right at the time I placed the order for. If you’re looking for the best fried chicken, I highly recommend this small locally owned business. Everything else there looked great also. I’ll definitely be back!

This one is a frustrating thing to write. I had called about 2 weeks ago asking if I needed to reserve service for a delivery on the first weekend of July. I was told by a worker that I did not. I emphasized that I would be doing $500-$700 worth of business. Called back today and they are not able to fit me in. My brother and me live a day’s drive away and this is for a huge party for my parents. What a disappointment.

Everything is usually great, but today was terrible chicken was tough and dry not hot or even warm I told the worker And I think the owner or manager overheard but nobody came to our table or said a word to us. We drive from Irwin pa because we like there chicken. Just disappointed but will try again. People are nice there.

Best fresh fish sandwich in the Washington area. Hands down. Also, the Mac and cheese is spectacular. Great people as well, kind and willing to answer questions / help out if needed. Love supporting small businesses, and this is an establishment I believe is worthy of the communities support!
