I usually order a Theta but this time I ordered a Cranberry Turkey on Wheatberry bread. Delicious! There was no skimping on the generous portion of turkey. The homemade chips were not to my liking as the seasoning tasted like garlic parmesan. I don’t like garlic so I asked two people at the table to try them. They didn’t like them either. Don’t let this discourage you from trying the chips.

I’m obsessed with Johnnie’s! So good, the only restaurant I’m aware of where you can get a burger that tastes like a homemade one: great beef patty, sesame seed bun, tons of shredded cheese, and fresh veggies! I also love their fries, they’re more naturally cut and not weirdly perfect (and fake) like McDonald’s. They also have creative and fun sandwiches that you can’t get anywhere else! They serve an orange slice in their tea, which I love. The dining area is so nice and it’s especially beautiful at Christmas time. I love this restaurant and am a lifelong customer!

I love johnnies. I have went here for years. But seems like there may be new management or something. The last few times I went the person working at the window is rude and acts like they’re annoyed. I went inside to pick up an online order and everyone behind the counter just stared at me and I patiently waited for someone to acknowledge me. I had 3 people standing there that didn’t even say hi or tell me someone would be with me. Finally a guy walked over and greeted me and handed me my order. He was the only nice person in there. I would definitely work on your customer service if you want people to come back. The food is usually good but your employees need some training it seems like.

Love this place. Been going here for around 20-25 years. The number 1 Johnnie’s Burger with Johnnies sauce, cheese and pickle is flat out amazing. The shredded cheese is unlike anywhere else. The sauce is a marinara-like house special. Get the onion rings with ketchup, salt, and pepper. Fries are not my fave but get some ranch (.33 extra) and they’re great. Anyway, couldn’t rate a 5 because tables and seats were a bit dirty on this visit. However, the burger is so worth it.

We were in Edmond to have our camper shell repaired and haven’t been to Johnnies since they had a location in Tulsa. My husband had the Theta burger and I had the chili cheese burger. We split a large order of onion rings. His burger was awesome. My chili cheese burger was kind of dry. The onion rings were as delicious as I remembered. We had ice tea to drink. It had a funny taste. I think it was getting old. The cost was a little higher than I remember. I’m glad they are still around.

$27 for two of us….one burger, one junior cheeseburger, one large fry, and two medium drinks. I eat good burgers elsewhere.

Food is always very tasty. THE original classic hamburger joint in OKC & Edmond. This trip they could have been more attentive to the mena bathroom.

They advertise fresh cut fries, but they aren’t fresh cooked. They had been sitting under a warmer light for who knows how long. The cheese is shredded cheese that isn’t melted on the burger, so it falls off. Very disappointed.

It was mine and my husband’s first time at Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler. I was really looking forward to it because I had heard so much about it. The food was good but I don’t believe it was $25 good. For two regular cheese burgers one with fries and one with onion rings. They charged for the burger and daises separate, which is fine, but they cost just as much as the main course. The new electronic menu on the wall is VERY confusing thank goodness they had an old menu at the register for us to look at. Overall, my food TASTED pretty good, I just don’t think it $25 good.

Only problem here is the drive thru line is slow during peak hours. But on the plus side the food is cooked fresh so it makes the wait worth it. And some of the best onion rings in town!
