Went for the Sunday brunch (reservations highly recommended). Brunch was reasonable priced, and the overall food selection was amazing – servers also walked around offering pizza slices and sushi. I was surprised when I sat down to a fluffy cinnamon roll, but that gives you the complete farmers fishers bakers experience!

Excellent for accommodating large groups. The food and service was great. Once all members of our party were seated, we were promptly served drinks and starters from the pre-set menu which had been prearranged with the restaurant by the group’s host. The Parmesan garlic knots were the bomb! And the chicken wings a close second. The main dishes were all good according to my colleagues. I had the chicken and waffles which was tasty although the portion size is too big to eat in one seating. The main course was followed by very large slices of tasty vanilla bean cheesecake (very light and fluffy) and key lime pie. At the end of the meal, each guest received a small box of gourmet chocolate – also very delicious. The manger and wait staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

I think my visit was somewhat of an anomaly based on the reviews. First, I will say, it’s in a beautiful location down by the waterfront in Georgetown. The restaurant is wonderfully designed and thought out. It’s comfortable, but very loud due to the size and popularity of the restaurant. There’s a good sized and stocked bar area and the restaurant has two main sections. The menu is as diverse as the name of the restaurant indicates. The prices aren’t too bad considering it’s in Georgetown. People are dressed in all kinds of attire, from more formal to shorts and flip flops.

The atmosphere is lively and energetic. appetizer guacamole ordered was plan and no salt. As main course, we had honey pot chicken with grits and it was really good. We also ordered the avocado tuna poke bowl that was good but not great. The bread and tostadas that came with the poke bowl were stale and excessive. Also the poke bowl had too much sauce.

Really good food, great location and views of the waterfront. This place is very busy, especially nights and weekends on a warm day. Service wasn’t great, but it was very crowded so to be expected. Highly recommend the crab artichoke dip, and shrimp scampi. The tuna salad sandwich was also delicious. The cocktails were very well made as well. Everything on the extensive menu looked really good.

This is my 2nd time coming here (6 years apart), and I’m super glad to know that the quality of the food is still amazing. My party enjoyed everything we ordered from the crab artichoke dip to the sushi to the wings. The only thing that we were slightly disappointed with was the jambalaya, but I think it’s because we expected a typical red sauce cajun styled jambalaya. The cocktails were also delicious. Can’t wait to visit DC again and dine here for a 3rd time.

Expected more after seeing all the good reviews. But Farmers Fishers Bakers feels like a slightly more upscale family restaurant, not a gourmet foodie spot. The food doesn’t taste as good as the way they are described on the menu.

We accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day and they were still more than happy to accommodate us. The food was good and so was the setting, right on the Georgetown waterfront. I got fried chicken jambalaya and it was superb. The place is a bit expensive, but that was expected based on the location and quality of food being served. Would 100% return in the future!!

One of the worst dining experiences in DC to date. I would avoid Farmers Fishers Bakers at all costs. They were exceptionally slow, unwelcoming and disorganized. From hostess to waiter, we were greeted with immense mediocrity and carelessness. Plenty of better options right next door. Founding and Distillers locations are better – but I don’t want to visit or promote either after this experience. I truly wish I left right away. Story: our reservation was for 6pm. We arrived on the dot. We weren’t seated until 6:43pm. The waiter didn’t take our order until 7:05pm. We didn’t get our food (and water!) until 7:20pm. What’s the point of a reservation? On top of this, the waiter didn’t properly place our order, so one of us got their dish 10 minutes before the rest of the table. It also took another 15 minutes of waiting to get the check. Cherry on top: the food was meh. For such a prime location and established restaurant chain, you’d expect much better. Truly and grossly disappointed.

really wanted to love it here but it didn’t live up to the hype. unfortunately we waited 25 mins for a server to approach our table. so we didn’t have water or get to place any drink orders for 25 mins. i said something to the host who sat us after 15 mins and still waited an additional 10. that was a bummer. the food was good but didn’t impress me. the guacamole serving was small and you had to add your own toppings in. the drinks were good but also not great. overall it was an expensive dinner with sub-par service and decent food. i would give it another chance but right now it wouldn’t be a recommendation from me.
