Great place. Stopped in after kayaking. Quick service even with our huge crowd, fresh food. Down home vibe.Prices unbeatable! The only bad. I would have liked wood smoked pulled pork,but it was still awesome! Again,on the run, I didn’t think to grab a pic.

Loved it! Very friendly staff, great food. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich (More like a slider, but good value for the price) with the spicy sauce. But, I grew up with Texas/Cajun influences, so I definitely recommend it.

The brunswick stew is the best around, it reminds me of what Fresh Aire’s Stew used to be back in the 80’s and 90’s..Fresh Aire’s stew, especially in Athens is just not good at all. I drive an hour both way for the Stew. I’m not sure if they have another BBQ sauce but the brown one that comes with the bbq plate is not good. The pork is solid just needs some vinegar sauce. The cake is very good too.

Decided last minute that I wanted BBQ for the family, pulled in placed a fairly large to-go order, I sat down expecting to wait at least 15 minutes but to my surprise it was ready in about 5 minutes and they helped me bring it to my car. Not to mention they have the best brunswick stew/stew/hash, whatever you call it, it’s the BEST!! Everything else is good too but their stew is the best you will ever have!! THANKS ZEBS!!
