A small place that’s a little to easy miss but also a place you need to keep on your radar. Between the great prices and good food we would definitely recommend. While I’m sure it’s busy in the morning, we arrived at about 1pm and got sat right away. The food was tasty and more than we could ask for for about $12 a person. You can even get full for under $10 too. If you’re in the area and looking for a bite to eat we recommend Lucy’s diner.

I was working on a job in the area, and asked the homeowner where a good place to eat is. He said. “Lucy’s diner is the best place in the world!” I went in to grab some lunch, and Haley was serving me. She did a great job, talked me into a double decker with amazing fries. I reckon my client was right. Lucy’s Diner is one of the best places in the world. Don’t forget to say howdy to Lucy on the way out. (Double decker BLT is what dreams are made of).

We had lunch here for the first time today. I LOVED my 3 way and hubby LOVED his Reuben he said it’s the best he’s had. It is a family run business where everything is homemade. I believe it was the BEST lemon meringue I’ve ever had. Hubby said his Carrot cake was the best he’s had. Charming little diner with good service we will be back!

Nestled along downtown Reading. Is a quite and comfortable little gem, with excellent home cooked meals. The owner Mrs. Lucy took our order and rushed of to prepare our meals. Wow roast beef with brown gravy and mashed potatoes, green beans. Superb. Chopped steak gravy , mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Huff. Delicious and a great conversation with Mrs. Lucy made it perfect ❤️

Great double burger. Good crinkle cut fries, chicken soup. Great service. Soft drinks $2.25 with refills. Eclectic decor. Parking lot and street parking. Outdated, mismatched furniture but adds to charm. Basic but clean restroom. Not crowded for weekday lunch.
