I’ve been going here for as long as they have been around—probably 20 years. The food is great in my opinion. Annie the owner is always nice and everything is very fast. You cannot dine in any longer since the pandemic, that’s the only sad thing. They used to have a great lunch buffet, but no longer. But for a great carry out option, Hunan’s is good.

The girl working the front desk was very sweet, but the food was not. We ordered sesame chicken which was really dry and the spicy hunan chicken was mild, at best. Towards the end of the meal, I found what looked like a piece of steel wool in my food. I don’t think we’ll ever go back. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately, the food taste and quality is notably diminished since pandemic days. Our family looked forward to eating there on our summer vacations. There is no longer a dine-in option. Specifically, the General’s chicken was overcooked and bland. So sorry to give up on a once great restaurant, but we’ll be moving on.

We just moved to the area& decided to give Hunan Gardens a try… I called & placed an order… When I went to pick up my order which should have come to the total of $17.25, was $21.10… when I asked I was told a price increase of $.50 per lunch & $1 per dinner (which I was not informed of when I called)… So my total then should have been $18.25… I questioned the lady again & was told there was a $.50 charge for sweet & sour sauce… Which should have came with the meal… Even so that would have been $18.75… I went ahead & paid still wanting to give them a chance… Until I got home (an hour away) opened up our supper and there are 5 pieces of pork (pic with s&s sauce)… Seriously I paid $7 for 5 pieces of pork!!! I doubt we will be going back…

Paid $19 for shrimp lo main, rice, two eggrolls. Shrimp lo main was 3/5 full. 3 shrimp and looked awfull. Owner said they dont fill the containers anymore. “They no full-full no more” she said. I said ” i payed full-full price though..” total rip off. Food was gross also. Never again.

Have always loved the food here. Make sure you get the new updated menu since prices are changing everywhere. I recommend calling to place your order then picking it up as the easiest way to get your food. I totally miss the buffet here. Haven’t had it in almost 2 years.
