Standard Mexican fare. From my other reviews of Mexican restaurants you’ll see I rate based on Camarones a Diabla. Don Jarro’s were not bad but based on that alone I would give them 2 stars. Not very hot, somewhat bland but the shrimp was cooked nicely. Almost all the other Camerones a Diabla I’ve ever had include some vegetable, typically onion, sometimes peppers. Jarro’s version was simply shrimp in an orange colored sauce. I’m going with 3 stars, tho, because the salsa was really good. If I lived in the neighborhood Don Jarro’s would probably be our go-to restaurant. If I’m ever in the area again I would try the carnitas. A member of our party had that and it looked pretty good. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the service was really good.

The waiter never came to check on us, the taco salad was wet. I couldn’t even eat the shell it was so soggy. No seasoning it was just horrible. The sweet tea was watery.

They seem to be a little hard of hearing. & then when you tell them what you ordered they make you out to be a liar & pretty much tell you you’re a horrible customer “Brunette bartender” . Lol – chips are stale. & they overcharge! People like what they like. What they ask for shouldn’t be an inconvenience it’s your job! “From server, to server!”

Omg I finally found a good tasting Mexican restaurant. It is so good here. I’ve been here for 8months from SA Tx. Trying all these Mexican restaurants and couldn’t find a good one. Until now. I definitely recommend this place. The food is amazing the service is wonderful. Very clean place….. Homemade corn tortillas. Thank you for the good food and service.
