This place is in the Arrowhead Mall food court. Realized we hadn’t eaten all day and decided to give them a try. Food tasted ok, was cooked quickly and was hot. The veggies were essentially a ton of cabbage, one carrot slice and one small broccoli . My son had the beef teriyaki which comes with mushrooms. Again, tasted alright while there, neither of us finished it and then the food just did not sit right in our stomachs. Mind you, my son has an iron stomach and is good with just about anything but he didn’t feel great either. Won’t be eating there again, but ya live, ya learn.

The food is great because it’s made fresh in front of you. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento with a vegetable roll. I left a tip because I always expect great service. This time though, I had a handful of people with larger order receive their food for simply because the cooks forgot the roll. So there’s that risk to gamble since everything is made to order. I might’ve been hungry who knows but I wouldn’t have minded an extra roll or a free drink but the flavor made up for it.

Whenever I go to Little Tokyo I always see pangs smiling face and it makes me feel happy or even happier then I was, he’s a great worker from what I’ve seen and he is very polite. The food is always fresh and so delicious I thank you Little Tokyo workers for this yummy food. #always fresh # fast

I watch the line of orders being made and the woman infront of me asks for extra chicken. Her 3 orders get mountains of chicken and because he over poured he was left with less. Knowing he had to cook more chicken he serves me less than the woman knowing I paid extra for extra chicken.

Seaweed salad: yay! Bright green and crunchy strands coated in toasted sesame oil is a delicious side, but hard to get it esp. at a reasonable price, so at $2.09 I happily added it to my Beef and Shrimp Bento Box and I was not disappointed. The outdoor seating area outside the mall’s food court overlooking palm trees and distant mts. made me feel I was at some resort, except for the plastic throwaway plastic box and the lid they make you take even if you’re eating the meal onsite (we really need to do away with all excessive unnecessary waste!) The dumplings were a little dry but the filling had a nice gingery flavor and the CA roll was fine, as was the main meal. Nothing extraordinary but for $9.99 it was a well balanced meal with veggies that didn’t slither out of a can, and all was freshly made and some nice spicy notes. Remember to tip the very competent and pleasant chefs–they should put the tip jar near them rather than at the register–and remember to watch them prep your food on the griddle, ala low cost Benihana.

They sold me a rainbow roll and handed me a California roll with avocado on top. I would not have ordered if they had been honest about what it was. When I said something they told me “yes yes rainbow roll” and didn’t understand and/or wouldn’t do anything about it. Very disappointed.
