The place was clean, staff was friendly. Catfish was good, and the fish tacos were very good, with an adequate amount of cheese for a taco. The fries were definitely the best part. I wasn’t able to judge the hush puppies as they had been left out of the order. They were shutting everything down a bit early, and I watched a customer come in, wait at the counter for a few mins, and when no one came to help her, she just walked out. Would be back, mostly just for the fries.

Brand new restaurant so we definitely had to check it out. The fish was great. We ordered white fish and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Fries were good. Grilled veggies were too greasy. They were handing out free beer and margaritas. Not sure if that’s just for their opening or what. The prices are reasonable.

The good: Flavors were great, we had Gumbo and grilled Shrimp (Gumbo could use some more veggies imo esp: Okra but was still tasty)! Portion size was good and the employees were all friendly. The free margaritas were a very welcomed touch too!

First visit last night. Very friendly staff, fish was extremely tasty would be 4 stars if there was an option of salad instead of fries. If you like margaritas ask for a sample before you order one, I did and had water instead, husbands beer he said was ok. We will go back to try the grilled shrimp.

We ordered the grilled fish tacos and fried combo basket with fried fish and shrimp. Our favorite thing were the hush puppies and the fries – both executed very well! We thought the fish and the shrimp were just ok. Batter wasn’t very well seasoned in my opinion, though we both appreciated that the batter on the fish and the shrimp was light, not super thick or greasy. We were surprised to find that they put a bunch of melted cheese on the fish taco – it tasted like mozzarella though I could be mistaken. It felt like eating a pizza fish taco – just not appetizing in our book. Maybe that’s a personal preference, but a heads up on that would have been nice so we could have omitted it. It’s hard to say, but I think it would have been a pretty decent fish taco if it weren’t for the cheese melted all over the tortilla. I will give this place another shot once it’s been open a little longer.

The catch brings seafood/cajun food to flower mound. The fried shrimp is awesome, the battered fries are awesome. The fried catfish for some reason isn’t near as good as the Lewisville location but maybe just a bad day.

Fries & shrimp are excellent. Oysters are terrible, battered in a heavy & gooey flour, batter falls off & leaves a rubbery flat oyster! So disappointed as I grew up on the Gulf Coast where seafood is plentiful & cooked to perfection & was so excited to have quality seafood nearby. Manager said 12 other people complained in same day but they can’t change the batter as corporate makes the decision to not use traditional corn meal batter. Wow, that’s sad.

All in all pretty tasty, took about 15 minutes to get our food. Fried fish tacos were good, think the fish would have stood out more if about 50% more. Hush puppies were good, nice flavor and texture, and couldnt put the fries down. Will be heading back, next will try the po boy.
