Came here with a friend on a Wednesday night and it was super delicious with great service and great ambience. I know it might be a small touch but loved the playlist that was on that evening – not too loud but wonderful background tunes. The food was A+. We got the curry puffs, chicken wings, and papaya salad for appetizers which were delightful. The wings were perfectly crisped, the papaya salad was fresh and tangy, and the curry accompanying the curry puffs was smooth and flavorful. For our mains we got the BBQ beef fried rice – spicy but with some sweetness – and also the wok-fried shrimp (super spicy but so good). The dessert was icing on the cake – a mango mousse over sticky rice, very refreshing and with just the right amount of tart. Would love to go here again!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Wayla. I had a couple creative drinks with couple dishes. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room on a basement.

Nice Thai restaurant with interesting dishes. The various fried rice dishes were all fantastic. The meatballs were a bit gimmicky but alright. The Spiked Ice Tea cocktail didn’t taste like it had any alcohol in it (if that’s good or bad) and had too much ice for my preference. The atmosphere and vibe were great though.

I think a place like this just so fully captures what I love about New York. You’ve got the entrance going downstairs. The cozy narrow corridors. Then you have a whole outdoor seating area wedged between buildings with beautiful twinkle lights and just makes the whole evening so magical. All the food was phenomenal and waitresses were so kind.

Really great and innovative dishes! Execution on some dishes were slightly lacking but overall delicious! Definitely get the lobster pad Thai and the duck. If you’re ok with spice, try the shrimp. Delicious flavors and awesome ambience!

Loved our meal here!! It’s an upscale southeast Asian place where they were so packed they seated us at a cafe next door, but it was just us so had a nice private dining experience. The dishes are creative and great portions. The duck had lots of veggies underneath, the sauce was amazing. Also loved the flavors in the string beans tofu. Recommend this place and these two dishes.

For drinks, I had the pandan cocktail. We started off with with the moo sarong and the nua jay pan aoi. The texture of the moo sarong was really crunchy, interesting, and memorable and the accompanying chili sauce was great—definitely a highlight of the menu. The “impossible meat” was very tender and the sauce was a solid combination of sweet and sour. For the main dishes, we had the sen chan pad lobster and see krong moo yang. I’m not a fan of the sen-chan noodles of the lobster dish; the noodles somehow felt a bit clumpy and it didn’t stand out from the lobster. The bbq ribs was better, a little bit salty, but very chewy. For dessert, we shared sticky rice mango which was hard to dig in and didn’t have a lot of flavor cohesion in my opinion. Overall, the restaurant atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly.
