Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ Menu – Milwaukee, WI

Type : Barbecue restaurant

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ started in Milwaukee as a Ghost Kitchen in 2020. The concept started when local restaurant operator Jack Holt traveled south to a family reunion, it was at the reunion that he recalled his love and passion for his family’s southern style hospitality. Armed with a binder of family recipes that had been passed down for generations, he came to Milwaukee for a new adventure.
He later made his way to popular BBQ restaurants all over the country to meet with well-established pitmasters to perfect his Smokin’ techniques. Those lessons combined with family recipes and 30 years of working in the restaurant industry forged the technique, quality standards, and flavor profile for Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ

Stopped here on the way home from the airport. Great service. We had the two meat combo to share. The chicken was really good and the brisket was very tender. Could have use a little more rub but outside of that it was good. The young man working the kitchen was real friendly talk to him about smoking meat. The young lady that took our order was super sweet! We would definitely

Bought the $18.00 brisket and chicken dinner yesterday at the Cathedral Jazz event. Boy was I so disappointed to open to box to see to two pieces of brisket, what seems to be a half of a cut up chicken breast and small cup of baked beans over powered with black pepper. What a rip off!!! Unless you have money to burn, avoid buying a dinner off the Smokin Jack BBQ food truck. Go buy tacos or hot dogs from another vendor at the Jazz event. The small food portions Smokin Jack’s BBQ sold me for $18.00 was just a dog gone shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not bad. I ordered the pound of pork shoulder with Texas hot sauce and a side of potato salad, as it seemed the better deal. The meat was good, the sauce, not spicy at all. The potato salad was pretty bland ( you’d do a lot better serving a southern-style mustard potato salad). That said, I’m glad you’re here.

You don’t think about just how small a 5oz portion of meat is until it’s sitting in front of you.

We had the brisket, pork, chicken and rib tips. The meat was not great – pieces were either too fatty or too dry. The sides and sauces were decent.
