Truly one of the best bang-for-your-buck omakase experiences in NY!! 12 piece omakase for $60. The fish was super fresh, highlights were the fatty tuna, scallop and shrimp. The shisho cocktail was also divine. Special shout-out to Amanda and the rest of the team for taking care of us and ensuring we had a great night

Just went here last week. And had the omakase with Ryan. It was fantastic. The food and conversation was great. This sushi chef let us know his whole process and dedication to making creative plates. Our favorite were his custom ones actually! And honestly this $100 omakase was actually better than some expensive ones we had in the city. 10/10 would def go back

After a not so pleasant experience at their bayside location, sushi by bou Astoria more than made up for it. Ryan our chef was excellent, attentive, and engaging. There was quite a few courses that surprised and delighted. Our hostess was also wonderful, fun and accommodating. Rest of the staff was also very nice. Location was spacious and had good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this location especially with the same host and chef.

They asked me how the meal was and I told them I was still waiting for it.. 200$ for me and my wife and left starving had to get McDonald’s after. 12 baby pieces of sushi is not a meal that is robbery.
