Place is a hole in the wall type of atmosphere. Feels like only the locals come here. Second time here and service has been good both times. You have a seat and the servers will make their way to you. I feel like it’s a place you can’t be in any hurry if you’re dining in. Meat was good in gorditas, burrito, and tacos. You cannot go wrong with any tacos you select. Menudo is really good. One of the best in town. The gorditas are made there so they have that fresh taste. No fountain drinks but plenty of options of all drinks. Parking can get tight if they are busy. Off Broadway so easy access to the place. Give them a try! Don’t be afraid to ask for more onions or sauces! Also the red bottled sauce is really hot. Yellow is mild. I definitely recommend the tacos.

This is hands down the best place to eat barbacoa. Best barbacoa we have ever had. It is always fresh. It never taste old or reheated. This is a regular spot for us. The service is wonderful, most of the staff already knows what we will order. Lol. Great family, locally owned business, amazing food. We go there at least twice a month.

I had the grande burrito, al pastar. Presentation was as plain as could be. Taste blew me away. My burrito was definitely a 5, but need to try more of the menu to give them a 5 overall. Food came out pretty quick. Will definitely be back.

Food is good but the service is terrible, we was there by 12:00 pm on Sunday and we never get our menudo until 1:06 which one hour later, and we had to wait for the salsa and tortillas for more than 10 minutes, we had coffee and we got to wait for the coffee for another 5 minutes, good food but bad service.

I live in Kansas City and everytime we go down south, we stop here. Hands down our favorite place to eat!! The food is excellent, reminds me of my Grandma’s cooking! The gorditas are my fav And the price for them were unbelievable, way cheaper than here at home! Highly recommend everyone to eat here, they’ll make you feel right at home 🙂
