I’m not sure if they had an off day. It is skip this one at all costs. The waitress was horrible. Argued with me about what I ordered. I ordered brisket and cornbread. About 25 minutes later, the brisket comes out and they say we only have chopped. Wow. It was over cooked and dry. My buddy had the ribs and they were decent. The corn bread was good as was the Mac and cheese.

What an experience! The food was fantastic!!! Highly recommend the brisket and the pulled pork mac and cheese. Joe, the owner, always takes the time to play some jazz on the piano. Highly recommend!!!

I had the brisket salad and a side of cornbread. It was delicious! An added treat was when the chef (I’m guessing the owner) came out and played some blues on the guitar. He even played the piano. I will definitely return here the next time I’m in town!

Smoked Bratwurst Bites, BBKing Sandwich, and the Sliders, oh yes, very good. On Thursday, there’s a group of gentlemen who play music; one plays the harmonicas, and I do mean harmonicas. When I go back to Arizona for business and I’m in that area, definitely going back.

Stopped by Arizona BBQ shack after searching for something different to try while visiting Scottsdale. The small cozy restaurant is very cool and gives a great blues vibe. The decor is old school blues with instruments and pictures on the wall. My wife had 3 sliders (chicken, pork and brisket) with a side of Mac-N-Cheese. I had the brisket sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. All were excellent! The best part is its just a mom and pop restaurant. The owner Joe cooks and also came out and played some great key board and piano to the likes of Nat King Cole and Ray Charles. His wife took our order and worked the tables. They both were friendly and genuine as they sat and talked with us. We will definitely be back for some more good food and fun entertainment..

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The owner and his wife were very kind to us, and the food was absolutely top notch. We were treated to a couple of jazz tunes the owner played on the keys, and he invited us to play a little as well (we are both musicians).

My date and I enjoyed our dinner and a Suns game with owners Joseph and Vajira! This power couple traveled from Globe AZ to open this delicious hole-in-the-wall BBQ spot. They made us feel like family and they were very attentive and conversational. I had the brisket grilled cheese with sweet potato fries and my company had a sandwich with Pulled-Pork, Brisket, and Coleslaw. The food was very delicious and the BBQ sauces are so full of flavor. They have open-mic Saturdays at 6 if anyone play their desired instrument. The couple is fond of Jazz and have a baby grand in the dining room!

Odd location….18 bucks for a frozen cheese burger….not worth 50 bucks for me and my wife….can’t speak for the rest of the food but a microwave burger is a better bet.
