Good display and flavor in the food but oddly heavy. Wait staff very friendly and attentive. The chef seems to favor cilantro quite a bit and I found it a challenge to enjoy a lot of the food here. Even cocktails had cilantro. Adding cilantro to everything gave even disparate dishes a similar ‘vibe’. I would recommend the ‘Just Chai It’s cocktail. Desserts were good. Steak tartare doesn’t stand up to Dedalus or Guild with taste/effect but had a great presentation.

On June 24, we had the most amazing experience at the The Starry Night Cafe in Ferrisburg VT. To start, it was a terrible rainstorm and they initially called to cancel because they lost power, but they called us back as soon as they got power! Everything from the minute we entered was absolutely wonderful. The staff are all exceptional, charming warm inviting and make you feel very special. The food was excellent, when you are raving about the bread before your apps or meal are out you know you are in for a treat and it was. My husband and I brought my parents to celebrate a new chapter of their lives. Every single item the 4 of us ordered was exactly as described, incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend will go again and again. Angie our bartender extraordinaire who was busier than a one armed paperhanger never lost her smile and was an absolute joy. Leslie our waitress was wonderful and gracious with the same happy countenance. The manager served our wine and pitched in with any thing else that was needed. This is well honed team that makes it look easy and any one who has done restaurant service work knows how hard it is. The incredible chef helped our waitress bring out our meals so they would all arrive at the same time and temp. It doesn’t get any better. 5 stars from this family and Thank you. We will be back

We have been to Starry Night several times and it is one of our most favorite restaurants. Tonight we went with friends to celebrate 2 birthdays. Our friends had not been here before and we had raved about it. We were extremely disappointed. We were seated in the front room which certainly does not share the ambiance of the other rooms. We had cocktails and wine, in addition to 2 appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 desserts. One entree was inedible, 1 was delicious and the other 2 were fair. Not sure if I’ll be back.

My boyfriend made dinner reservations as a surprise, and it was a perfect night for us to be seated on the beautiful three-season porch. A lovely, cool breeze accompanied an incredibly thoughtful menu with fresh, seasonal ingredients and delicious drinks. We will absolutely be back.

Best restaurant experience I have ever had all around!! We had a reservation to sit at the bar inside, right when we got there they asked if we would prefer the patio which was so great because it was a beautiful summer evening. Then the food was outrageously delicious! My partner is from Brazil and loved the fact they had Picanha on the menu (a Brazilian cut of meat). She had never seen that in the US before. We wanted to do desert but both of us were so full from just the entrees we held off for next time! Thank you chef Robert and all the staff at Starry Night! We will be back soon!

This little cafe/restaurant was just delightful. It is an upscale menu and well worth it. The atmosphere is romantic charm at its best. We ordered the lamb and fresh salmon. The presentation was exquisite and the taste was superior to your everyday restaurant style. We enjoyed every bite and desert was very much the same. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend trying this one out.

First time going there for my gf and I 3 years Anniversary. Wonderful place, amazing service and incredible food. Pepper me happy was my favorite drink (the red one) we started with fried calamari and the home made Focaccia. The sauce for the calamari was incredible . Then we went to i got the steak and she got the Halibut. Both dishes were awesome. We loved the place and the atmosphere.
