We are excited to announce the opening of our newest cafe in the heart of historic Shorewood. Located at the corner of Oakland Ave and Lake Bluff Blvd., our 1920s Mediterranean revival building gives a nod to the look and feel of an old-world coffee house.
We hope to see you soon, enjoying a warm morning on our patio, or around our outdoor fire pit as the weather turns chillier. The interior is spacious and inviting year-round, with our friendly baristas serving our classic espresso drinks, small-batch coffee, fresh bakery, breakfast, and lunch items.

Really great coffee shop, spacious, clean, and nice atmosphere to read and meet with friends over coffee or lunch alike. Great variety of drinks, and nice menu for lunch, though I found the prices a bit higher than expected, and not a great value for the portion size. We enjoyed the salad and the toasted turkey sandwich with chips. Support local businesses. Enjoy!

Dropped in here for a quick bite of breakfast on a Tuesday morning and ordered the Toasted Avacado Croissant and Aztec Mocha. Items here are a bit pricey but of good quality. The croissant on the breakfast sandwich was flaky and buttery, and the Aztec Mocha was spicy and absolutely delicious! The inside is nice and spacious, and their outdoor patio is quite lovely.

Everything was better than Starbucks. The coffee had good flavor. Food items are ok, but fresh and from a good menu. Service is perfect. Atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. I’ll be back for more.

We ordered 6 drinks online. I always get a blended mocha without coffee. I’ve never had a problem until today. They made my drink with decaf. I walked all the way back and returned the entire drink. Before replacing it, Katie made sure to blame me for them making it wrong. She told me next time I should specify hot water. What hot water? It’s a cold blended drink. It’s always been made correctly. Maybe if they weren’t all busy goofing off they would’ve made my drink properly like they always do. But to give me attitude and blame me was not cool. My sisters will be returning, I’m sure, but I will not.

Shorewood has a ton of coffee options to pick from and Fiddleheads is the only one I ever want to go to! Hands down my favorite coffee shop. Everyone who works here is so kind and personable. They always remember me and my drink order. Every time I get to stop into Fiddleheads it makes my day all because of the great coffee and even better people!!
