I have tried tacos in literally every place around Rexburg. Unfortunately, no taco bus or Mexican restaurant has appeased my appetite for a quality taco. I’ve had to travel to Morenita’s in Idaho Falls if I’m craving one, and a lot of times that’s too out of the way for it to be worthwhile. Let me tell you, I am SO happy that there is finally a GOOD taco place in Rexburg! The customer service is great (the guys there are super nice), and the al pastor is amazing. I will absolutely be here again for more. I tried the tacos al pastor and also a mulita, and both were incredible.

Food was average at best, very Americanized flavor. I ordered 2 tacos just to try and there was barely even meat, cilantro or onions. I felt like I was paying almost $7 for 2 pretty much empty tortillas. Awful that was my only options for tacos around.

So overall I liked the al pastor meat it was very flavorful but not enough meat in the taco, for that small amount they should be in a street taco tortilla. I also don’t like feeling nickel and dime’d the limes and salsa cost extra. I know things are expensive but come on I am paying for a complete taco give me a complete taco, if I want extra then charge me extra. Or better yet up the price and serve a complete taco.

The menu is misleading at best and a scam at worst. They offer 2 tacos for 4.75, and other items on their menu state you get ‘two’ items; You only end up getting one. When you ask for clarification they inform you: No, you only get one. Disappointing when the menu and the owners share different info, but they will still happily take your money!
