The place wasn’t very busy so we were able to sit right up at the bar. We waited about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. We ordered drinks, crab melt with fries, fish and chips.

The food was great!! I highly recommend eating at Jacks, the place is clean, service was a little slow, but due to covid every business has lost a lot of workers. I had the Ahi salad, my husband ordered the crab melt and out appetizers were coconut shrimp, and fried calamari!! Our boys gave it a thumbs up for sure!!

We had the grilled steelhead and halibut fish & chips…came with greens salad, yummy chowder and bread. We also had the deep fried mushrooms…loved the light, crispy batter. Everything was delicious, served promptly and very friendly servers. Prices comparable to other places of this caliber…$25-30 per person plus a little more for drinks and appetizers.

Unknownn prophecy
To start service was TRASH lady paid zero attention to me or family seemed clue less. My family had ordered a clam soup had zero clams only vegetables… and some potatoes. I ordered halibut hamburger it was good no issues. Ranch sauce was good too. I was told from other family I came with some bread that came with the meal was pretty cold not warm which made it chewy. Mainly tho service sucked.

I searched for the best calamari in the area, and Jack’s came into my feed. After reading a few reviews, I opted to explore the hype. Yes, the calamari tastes fresh. The first time, the calamari was cold. I asked the server if the calamari was made in “batches”… sadly, the answer was yes. She quickly took the dish back and brought me a fresh hot plate. The serving doesn’t match the price, and it’s flavorless.

I was working in Eureka for 2 weeks, I was looking for good oysters this place did not disappoint at all. The service was great and the food was amazing I went back here 3 times before I went back home. I highly recommend this place I can’t wait to come back.
