You could tell that the crew at this location worked well together. They were fully staffed, the service was excellent, and the cook was amazing. My husband and I have been to three different Waffle House restaurants in Tuscaloosa in the last month and this one was by FAR the best!

I visited the Waffle House in Tuscaloosa last week and the food was fantastic. Myself & couple family members enjoyed a breakfast that was so good it was prepared just as we wished for. The Waffle House on McFarland has service that could not of been better. The atmosphere was pleasant,, quiet and welcoming .The people were so friendly and they kept the coffee coming. They checked on us often to be sure we were fine . We’re looking forward to going back there soon.

Nice location, very clean, staff was very friendly! Natasha was our waitress but all the waitresses looked like they helped each other out and would stop by other tables and ask if anything was needed. I really appreciated that team work! I’m not sure if the cook was also the manager but he was helping with orders, he came out to make sure our food was to our liking and hearing him encourage one of the waitresses was so nice! We aren’t from Alabama but if I was ever back in this area I’d come to this location for sure

me and my family went to alabama during the summer and before we left we went to this waffle house, and we were blown away by how great of a time it was! we have never experienced service like this the staff is so amazing, especially Ms. Joana she was the most kindest, sweetest person ever ☺️ and the food was delicious. if we ever come back to alabama we will be sure to come to this location. 🙂

Waffle House is a great place to eat. Staff keeps the tables and floors as clean as they can despite the constant traffic. Never had a complaint about the food. A cook even gave me tips on how to cook the best sausage.

I would go to this unit often. (I would go because I don’t go anymore) We spent 30 minutes waiting for a table with 4 empty ones (available) in that time several people gave up and left. I stayed because my friend insisted a lot, thinking that we would be taken care of soon. After a long wait we sat down and LUCKY removed us from the table, saying that the table would need to be cleaned first. (Almost put on an apron and cleaned up) I just wanted a meal. After another 10 minutes of waiting, they finally cleared a table. The officials didn’t tell me to sit down. A customer at the counter told us to sit down (all I wanted was to tip that customer $40) and we were served with no disposition. I don’t know what happened that day. they looked lazy in the extreme, especially LUCKY.

Can’t tell you much bc we showed up to eat at the 24hr restaurant to find we would have to eat in our car bc they only have take out late at night. Never experienced this anywhere else and I’ve been to my fair share of waffle houses throughout the whole south-east.

They always find a way to mess up my grit bowl one way or another. Ordered mine with extra bacon and sausage. Got no sausage on my bowl and a side order I was charged for but not the sausage that was supposed to come on it. Then have the nerve to not answer the business phone with employees sitting down. Very annoying.
