Hungry Howies decides to sale me burnt and salty bread on top of uncooked wings. The service is very poor and the manager who is located on Taft st in Hollywood,Fl decides to be very inconsiderate and not give me a refund on top of speaking in Spanish not wanting to get otp but had his employee translated his Spanish when he speaks English as well. Just very rude! I will not be revisiting this company ever again. This was my first time ordering from this establishment.

Placed an order through the app, noticed that when I was about to check out, it didn’t give me the option to see where my $27 pizza is going. So I went to my saved address, and changed it to where I am NOW, then I restarted my order and placed it. An hour later I’m calling them because my pizza never came, just to find out that not only did they still send it to my OLD address, they said it’s MY fault for not telling them my address when 1. How was i supposed to know that they would send it to an address that is no longer on my account? And 2. The app NEVER gave me the option to verify my address. I looked at my account and it IS showing my NEW address.

I no longer buy at Hungry Howie’s because of a very negative experience I had there. I placed my order online and went to pick up my pizza about 15 minutes later. The cashier asked for my credit card, which surprised me because I thought I paid for it online. I gave her my card, got my pizza and went home. A few days later I noticed 2 charges for the same amount on my bank statement. I tried to reached customer service 3 times and left messages and got NO RESPONSE. So basically I was charged 2 times for my order and still waiting for my refund. (Not holding my breath.)

great “Cabana Man” job
Was there with 3 young kids. Very nice girl behind the cash register and very helpfull. Unfortunately only 1 table outside. I would put another for some more eatins potential and just a little paint on the store front and a concreet powerwash, will make it more inviting . Pizza was good. No problems. Even fed a lady racing around in a wheelchair begging for money, but gave her food and drink. She luved it too. Good lesson for the kids. Giving makes you feel good. All together, well run franchise.

I really like this place. They have good food. Reasonably priced. The employees, at least at this location, are awesome. I absolutely love their subs. They are huge. You can get flavored bread for the subs as well. My favorite is their Turkey sub. They have one with ham and Turkey and one with just Turkey. There are other choices as well. Try them out. They have some specials throughout the week. Wednesdays the have the most specials. However for those on “Wacky Wednesdays” are carryout only. Try them out.
