Love the vibes of the place! From the first experience I know it won’t certainly be my last. It a nice change of pace in terms of food offerings in Hanover which I really like. Chicken all the way our table had it, (boneless, sandwiches, wings) were delicious. Service was fast, surprisingly fast actually. A lot of good looking things on the menu, can’t wait to try more things!

I came here on their first Brunch day (May 14, 2023) and I was super stoked to attend. However, I was really disappointed all around. I ordered an Irish coffee and it was completely incorrect, it should have been black coffee with Jameson and hand whipped cream on top. The Irish coffee I was served was some basic coffee with some Jameson and Bailey’s to act like a creamer.

Visited this place for my school’s Halloween party and loved every bit of it! Great vibe and service! The food was great too (don’t have a picture of that, but) – the fried brussel sprouts, black bean burger, chicken tenders, steak-cut french fries and mac and cheese were amazing! And amazing management – they ensured to keep the food hot and replenish the different sauces! Would visit again!

As a vegan it’s nice to see more than just one vegan choice on the menu, and not just salads. While I do appreciate that, I’ll still be going to other places when I’m looking for vegan food with more depth or flavor. My less than average food rating (which unfortunately on par with much vegan food in the area) might only apply to the vegan food though because my dad said the chicken sandwich was one of his favorites yet and that the beer selection was good. If you you are a vegan customer you should expect to focus more on enjoying the ambiance (good music), drinks, and events. But you’ll at least have something to eat!

I went to Sawtooth because I am from the south and looking for some good fried chicken. I have never been more disappointed with any meal, ever than I was with this one. I have never seen a a less appetizing dish than the one I was served. The leg quarter that I got looked like the size of a quail., but the worst part was that the “crispy” crust was not golden brown but very dark brown and black, almost incinerated. The meat was dry as if it had been warmed over from the night before. Honesty the worst meal I have ever been served. Wish I had taken a photo . I told the waitress who apologized and said to order something else next time. There will never be a next time! The chef that day should be ashamed.

I wanted everything on the menu, but settled on a grilled cheese, and shared a Cuban and some fries with a friend. The food was excellent, across the board. It’s a very cool space and features high quality live music regularly, which I appreciate as a musician. I would absolutely recommend Sawtooth, and I will certainly be back.

Poutine came out with cold cheese, cheese biscuits were cold, ordered fries on the side (an up charge rather than chips) and plate came out with tater tots. Said they were all out of fries, but still charged. Had to ask for water refills. Fried chicken was pretty good…but $80 after tip for two people for this? So mad at myself for wasting my money. Wanted to email them so that they can improve, but they don’t have one on their Web page.
