I arrived early on Saturday evening. Waiting for the rest of my party I went to use the ladies room. A man was fixing one of the toilets and was rude to me when I told him I wanted to use the facilities. He did not leave, a female employee had to ask him to leave. I had not been to Mrs. K’s in about 20 years and I remembered a better overall atmosphere. Our waiter was nice and helpful. We started with the deviled eggs which were topped with bacon and pickled jalapenos. The pickled flavor washed out the bacon flavor but was still interesting to have tried. We ended our meal with an apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Rich and flavorful, a nice treat. All in all not a bad place but I felt it used to be better and I miss that special treatment everyone used to receive.

Easter brunch at Mrs. K’s is quite busy. However we were seated promptly. The brunch buffet is a combination of breakfast staples – eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, omelet, waffles, etc and hearty lunch dishes – Mac and cheese, ribs, chicken wings, oysters, shrimp, etc.

Went to the Sunday brunch. Lots of seafood options shrimp, crab legs, oysters, and muscles. Also roast beef in the carving station as well as salmon.

Went here for Saturday A La Carte Brunch. Very historic place and they let you tour the area. Food was good and tasty. The wait staff was very nice, although service wasn’t the best and was a bit slow. The receptionist never smiled and seems like she doesn’t want to be there. Good location and worth a try if you’re in the area and doesn’t want to drive far.

Mrs. K’s has always been a local favorite, however, their wedding services are spectacular. Tisheeka, the event coordinator, pulled our wedding together for the perfect day!(rain and all). She worked exceptionally well with outside vendors. She answered our million and 10 questions promptly and with professionalism. She worked well with all the hiccups that come with a wedding. Mrs. K’s was absolutely perfect! The day of staff were equally amazing. They read the room perfectly. By the end of the evening the staff were additional guest, everyone enjoyed both the service and their fun personalities. I am so grateful to have Mrs. K right in our neighborhood. I recommend this place 100%. if i could give more stars I would!

We love Mrs. K’s. Partially because we had a great experience having our wedding there but also because they have tasty cocktails, good food, good prices, and a historic structure. It feels very Maryland and their crab cakes prove it. Their brunch is a bit pricey but very good. look out for their deals such as wednesday date night (not sure if it’s offered anymore) where you split an app, each get an entree, split a dessert, and get a bottle of wine for $50 total.

Had an extraordinarily delicious crab hollandaise from their brunch menu during a baby shower event. Great service and gorgeous venue. Should be a must go to place.

Great brunch with the added seafood. Loved the fried chicken so much, decided to have chicken and waffles. The waffles were very delectable. Omelette station is always a plus. Service was excellent and attentive. Great atmosphere. Toll House isn’t an understatement. It’s actually a big/giant house turned into a restaurant. The outdoor seating is beautiful. Wonderful place for a Sunday brunch. Make reservations and make them early. A must to experience. The landscaping is amazing and very scenic. Relaxing to say the least.

Not metro accessible but worth the drive or Lyft just to see the place. Many different rooms on the inside, each with a slightly different feel. It’s the garden that catches your eye, though. I came on a summer Friday. Happy hour drinks and entrees are served at the cozy bar and then we went outside to enjoy the grounds. Parking is limited. Good and drinks good for happy hour prices. Service was a little slow to acknowledge us at first but then quickly kicked into gear and accommodated is for all we needed. We went and sat in the gazebo for a while after we finished our happy hour-dinner.
