I have always liked Carl’s Jr. a lot. Their food is definitely better than some of the other big fast food chains and the employees are always pleasant. Although in a truck stop (we were traveling), this location was no exception. We got the California Classic burgers and the fried zucchini with ranch. Love the zucchini ~ it’s a great alternative to the usual French fries. The employee who took our order was very nice and helpful even it was very busy. It was great to get something decent and hot to eat after a 600 mile drive.

Great pit stop on I-44! Facilities we’re clean and maintained well. Staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly. I tried the Frisco burger, and it was so good! The jalapeño double cheeseburger was also very tasty. Good burgers for a good price. When we’re driving through, we’ll definitely stop by again.

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give zero stars. Walked over from the hotel across the street and at 10pm couldn’t get food because ” our computers are down for end of day” sorry wrong answer. Bad business to completely shut down especially in a truck stop where people are in and out. People aren’t going to wait 20+ minutes for the computer to come back up. Time is money for drivers.

Lemme tell ya… I got some meals (I don’t remember the name) for myself and my nephew. It came with a double cheese burger, a spicy chicken sandwich, small fries, a drink, and a cookie for $6. $6 for all that food! Well, $6.54 with tax. But come on! You can’t beat that!

We went through the like and they told us they were doing end of day stuff so it would be about 10 minutes, so we said we would wait and we did, we waited about 20 minutes and went back through and told us we couldn’t order for 10-15 minutes after they had already told us that 20 minutes ago! Everywhere else is closed now so we just wasted our time and gas. You don’t just close your whole restaurant down for “end of day stuff” its almost two hours before close, that’s not how restaurants work.
