I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was so over cooked and so hard it was like eating rocks. There was a group of us, and the waitress just flat out ignored half of the group. We had to flag her down multiple times just to get everyone’s drinks ordered at the table. The atmosphere is just gross. The restaurant looks very dirty. Every surface is sticky. People smoke on the patio. It’s all around awful. Nothing nice to say.

I’m not sure what to rate this. I’d maybe put 3 stars because it’s okay. I’m not impressed by the food they sell but the customer service is alright. The bathrooms are littered with writings on the wall. There are poker tournaments at this restaurant and that is why I’ve been here. The entrance to the restaurant is easy to miss. The entrance is immediately after the Arby’s on the right. 10 feet apart

Came for trivia, which was fun. Our server Jarrod was probably the worst server I’ve ever had. I was a server and bartender for three years, so I know it can be tough, but I always checked on my tables, and owned up to mistakes when tables were upset. He came to our table only four times. I would see him with his hands in his pockets inside leaning back while we were waiting to order food and needing a refill on our water and chips. After asking for more chips after ordering he never came back to our table for another 20-30 mins, which I then asked for the dips to be taken off since we hadn’t been able to eat them without chips. He proceeded to give me attitude and refusing to help. I went in and spoke to the manager, Stephen, at the bar, who was very nice, but while I was talking to him, Jarrod was standing at the other end of the bar, smirking and giving me rude looks. Aside from his horrible service, the food was also very mediocre, so I don’t ever see myself returning.

Good place to wind up with a glass of beer. This place offers good variety of beers. Live band until 10 pm last night played oldies rock music.

5-5-19 – Cinco de Mayo in the area, and wanted to beat the crowd. Not too crowded and good service. Got Beef Queso, with chips and salsa for appetizer. For the meal we had a Chicken Burito, beef and chicken Enchiladas meal with refried beans and rice; and I had ala carte grilled chicken, steak and fish tacos. The grilled chicken and fish tacos were the better of three. We ate outside and enjoyed the TVs and nice breeze.

I can’t say enough about this place. Consistent food over the last 12 years I’ve been coming here. It’s a Cheer’s bar with some grunge and old school hip-hop flare.

Huge menu with lots of delicious options! I have tried the spicy shrimp quesadilla, vegetarian burritos, cilantro hot sauce chicken strips, and the southwestern egg rolls. Everything is great! We have ordered delivery so not sure about the facilities.

My favorite place in Atlanta to eat. Everything you order is going to be great. They have a great beer selection and wine selection and nothing here is overpriced. They also have good vegetarian selections as well and are very accommodating towards that. When you come in you feel like your part of a family. My husband has been talking about this place for 2 years and we moved here and I finally got to try it. Wednesdays are our favorite day to go because the band they have playing is great too. Definitely try this place out!

What is Tin Roof? This is probably better answered by asking what it’s NOT. It’s not some hipster, fancy, new-age restaurant. It’s not clean. It’s not creatively ingenious. In fact, the service isn’t even THAT good. But perhaps what makes it so charming and enjoyable is just how grunge-y it is. It is the greasiest, most hole-in-the-wall, cheap bar food you’ll ever have. And for that, I love it. Sometimes nothing quite hits the spot like a greasy bar burger and fresh out of the fryer tots. Try it. You’ll probably regret it later, but you’ll thank yourself in the moment.

Great buffalo chicken quesadilla — if you’re looking for a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with bar and live music or trivia, add it to your list. Service is slow.
