Dropped in for Dinner. We ordered Manny’s pale ale and Lowit Grimlock Porter which as it turned out was a bit of hopps at the finish. We ordered a House Salad which came with a nice surprise garlic bread, and the Prawns scallops and rice with red and orange carrots. All tasted yummy cooked just right but the rice was swimming in sauce or water from veggies. Not the end of the world as it didnt affect the taste but not what I expected for a plate of food. A bowl but not a plate. Service was spot on friendly and prompt.

The cook prepares the food at the bar which is definitely different. There were Flys and bugs everywhere, extremely dark inside and need more lighting. Over priced for decent food at best, waiter gave us silverware after handling it from the spoon end. The cook was using the microwave the entire time and slamming the door repeatedly. I would say our experience was definitely less than pleasant.

Believe the 4.5 review. This gem tucked away on a side street is a delight. Nothing showy on the outside but one of the best back bars in the PNW. Great atmosphere with a meal to delight even the most hardened gourmand. Two unassuming gents with a great sense of humor provided a dining experience to remember. We came in at 4:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday… between lunch and dinner. He warned us about poor selection and service. With three little kids we were very concerned. However, even though they had three choices unavailable we each got something different (the two littles shared) and EVERYONE gave them a 10 out of 10. This hard-to-please family was thoroughly pleased. Great place.

We had our Christmas party there and it was perfect. The customer service was phenomenal. Not to mention, they got us set up on short notice when another place canceled on us. The food was amazing! I definitely recommend the shrimp appetizers they had! Thank you to the whole staff for taking care of us. I definitely will recommend this place!

Food was tasty. Service was slow and we had to ask twice for water but when we told them we wanted a drink that didn’t taste boozy, he said to trust him and he pulled through with a creamsicle and she loved it. The muscles were super tasty and had a little kick to them. Steak was tasty and the shrimp and scallops were cooked great, but under seasoned.
