Time Flys in the Shop
I had it for the first time 9-16-21 on a whim just looking for something different. I did not know what to get and picked the polish dog sandwich. THAT WAS A GOOD CHOICE!!! I liked everything about that sandwich! It was well made, tasted great, was a huge portion for a reasonable price. Altogether a great value! I will definitely go back to try more menu items. I see a lot of bad reviews mostly about a person. I had no issues with anyone I interacted with.

I love their food, ribs always on point, cheesesteak is great. I always get a side of mac’n’cheese and bake beans just amazing. I haven’t been in a while but the price for their sides now is ridiculous.

I’ve been there a few times most recent experience Polish boy had a hair in it so I know they weren’t wearing hair nets when cooking the food I called they had me come back and get a fresh one but still really didn’t trust it they didn’t apologize or anything else. Also in the past greens weren’t cooked for several hours like they should be and dressing was just a bunch of cornmeal no veggies or anything and very bland. I cook soul food regularly so I know how its suppose to be I’m always hoping they will surprise me when I don’t feel like cooking but we all.prefer my version of their food at the end of the day. They need me cooking in that place.

We appreciate the home cooked food…especially when you are from out of town and come straight from the road. Always a warm and friendly experience. But as a testimony to their customer service and very well established business….they stayed open more than 40 mins past closing for me and my hungry, road tired family so we could enjoy all the Soul Food delights we all longed for. Meal Deals are offered ; If you aren’t interested in cooking but want homemade eats….me and my squad would gladly recommend ED’S, they are only a click away with Grub Hub. (Or pick up at the Walk up window).
