This is one of the BEST soul food spots I’ve ever had in my life. I can wholeheartedly say that this place is phenomenal. The fact that this entire establishment from the food to the architecture was made by a hard working black woman is one of the best parts about it. This place is a piece of art. I’m very pleased with my meal. At the price point that I got this meal for, it was 100% worth it. 10/10

Have been meaning to try here for a while and finally got around to it. Ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese, and candied yams with cornbread. Very good meal. Only ding for the rating is due to them preparing my food too early. I deliberately specified a time and they notified me it was ready 25 minutes early. Needed to switch some things around in my day but that’s a minor gripe.

Stopped by this hidden gem and all I can say is AMAZING, the food was seasoned perfectly and beyond delicious. The owner is awesome and very friendly. Restaurant is clean and beautifully designed. This is a 5/5 and if you like great food and great service do yourself a favor and go there immediately., you will in no way be disappointed!!!!

I decided to try something new today for lunch. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by the owner. She was very nice. I ordered fried fish, Collards, potato salad, and a side of Mac n cheese and it came with cornbread. The food was delicious. The mac n cheese was cheesy just how I like it. I will definitely be back with friends.

Okay so it is a bit pricey but I would say everything in my platter had flavor. The baked chicken wings was so good. Big portions as well. So your getting your money’s worth. I been to many soul food places but this is the best place by far. I would definitely suggest for anyone who wants some real soul food to go to Sister’s

This restaurant is so dear to my heart!! From the chic decor throughout to the down home soul food!! This place is incredible with great desserts to match. The blueberry cobbler, pineapple upside down cake and spring themed banana pudding is really something special. I highly recommend this place.

Can i just say this has to be the worst over priced “soul” food place. I ordered the fried fish platter. The fish tasted like frozen fish, string beans were definitely from a can-absolutely no flavor, potato salad was so salty and we didn’t get the cornbread that should of came with the platter. PS… the mac and cheese is made with shells and bland af. Needless to say our $80 meal was absolutely not worth it and i will not be a returning customer. Save your money!

I hope a return is soon to be, I know, I’m late, but with them being closed for the time being I figure I state my case. This restaurant is such a great souk food eatery. They make each & every order a breeze. Their customer service is straight bomb. I’ve called in to order & I’ve ordered on location right there at their counter. The atmosphere is pleasant, not at all the typical hustle & bustle Cafe, no this place is one, two, three steps from being a lounge. I see the potential in Sister’s Spot. If the objective was not to be a basic, and serve great tasting soul food cuisine. Major SUCCESS, Sister’s Spot owner & staff. And to all the beautiful & hungry customerslet’s all keep coming back. I’m hoping to close this by begging you to open back up, and I’m also sorry for the family issue, I’m concerned and I’m sure I’m not the only patron to begin to enter your entrance and see the sign there & immediately bless you.
