My cousin Jimmy and his family are the owner operators they’ve got a variety of essentials fresh coffee a breakfast counter and you can pick up a six pack or two on your way out. Great people great place to visit.

The food here isn’t bad, but the store supplies are limited. They tend to have some help who are not very sociable. Today I stopped in for a bottle of water and the place was pretty empty. In the past I’ve gotten sandwiches and pizza here and it was pretty good. They do seem to have a limited supply on the shelves, but pick up a bit as the summer season comes on. Eat in or take out, not handicap accessible, and twice now the staff behind the cash register has seemed rather disgusted to be ringing up items. None the less it is the only store in New Portland and the last stop before heading into the highlands and Bigelow Mountain/Flagstaff Lake/Big Eddy areas.

Great breakfast spot!! Awesome food at diner prices with friendly workers! We stopped for cigarettes which they didn’t have but we didn’t even mind because we ended up looking around for awhile and staying for breakfast. We got the dam omelette and hash and it was all very delicious.

We were at the fairgrounds for an event for the weekend. Stopped here for breakfast and were unexpectedly pleased. The food was delicious with large portions and decent prices. Not your average diner but we will be back next year.
