Virgil’s is soul food at its best. The takeaway plates are packed. It was yummy.

Good food, solid serving sizes. The bbq pigs feet was good, as well as the regular bbq. They do not currently offer indoor dining, though there are some covered picnic tables outside. Other reviews mentioning a long wait time aren’t wrong, but the food is good nonetheless

My sister and father love the chitlings dinner. I myself don’t eat this at all. I found the hush puppies are very tasty. The fried catfish is lite and crispy.

If you only like banana pudding this is your place to go but a check en sandwich consists of bone in chicken and white bread, youll be shorted food, and you will be waiting for 30-45 min so good luck

Been a patron for over forty years! Good old fashioned home cooking which reminds you of home in a world of fast food, Virgil’s is the place to go for the best soul food around. I don’t mind waiting for quality soul food!

Best home cooked food that I’ve ever tasted at any restaurant. The wait is worth the reward

Called to place a pickup order. It literally took almost 20 mins for that to happen. Restaurant needs someone strictly for call in orders.

Small portion sizes for prize. To give to go plates and be stingy on food doesn’t make sense. Non fried Food was under-flavored, possibly good for older or diabetic people. Dive in only, so not a drive through or a sit in restaurant. The outdoor seating was nice tho. Drink were good. It was alright at best
