Chef Dave Beran and team are, for a short time only, offering a tasting menu (degustation). I called last minute and was able to get a spot for both the tasting and the wine pairing.

What an amazing meal! Lots of great flavors and love the sauces. Despite all the yummy starters and entrees, the desserts were an even better highlight. Love the toasted almonds with the vanilla ice cream and the rice pudding with spiced caramel from the cooked down pineapples.

Not worth the price. it’s not that the food wasn’t good, but it is not exceptional given the exceptionally high price tags. Appetizers and sides are in the $25-30 range (yes, a side dish of potato Gratin Dauphinois is almost $30!!), and main at >$50-60 a dish. I think you come to this place if you want to show off / impress that you can buy expensive meals that look very presentable. Very pretty looking dishes that didn’t deliver. I understand they use expensive ingredients to prepare the dishes (e.g. 40 day dry aged beef or some such for steak tartar), but for some reasons the dish fall short to impress – taste didn’t come through, the special pesto they added some plant to just tasted and smelled like plain grass – you can’t even smell basil in it. Duck croquette was yum for the first 3 bites and afterwards way too buttery and oily. Apricot jam added on the top was way too much and too sweet, completely overpowering everything else. No balance there. I think the idea was probably great but executed poorly.

I went here for the Mother’s Day brunch, which was a cute idea, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The menu was not well designed, in the sense that almost every dish was overly creamy and lacked a complexity of flavor. I consume a lot of dairy without issue, but this meal was excessive and left me feeling queasy for the rest of the day. The portions were far too large for the number of courses, and the staff didn’t even box our leftovers for us, instead having us do it ourselves, which is odd at this price-point. The tartine was overly toasted and felt like a brick (the crust refused to cut with teeth or knife). The duck skin on the deviled eggs was reminiscent of prepackaged bacon bits you would find in a diner’s baked potato, when we were hoping for a delicate crisp to balance the creaminess. The quiche was nice, but again too large and with a messy salad that could best be described as “rustic” and seemed to be the entire plant. The salmon was cooked well, but by that point we were overly full due to the excessive sizing. The hanger steak was alright, while the broccolini was actually surprisingly good, but ended up feeling like too little too late. The choux was decent as well, but only added to the one-dimensional, uninspired flavor palate. I write this review from a place of sadness, because I’ve been to pasjoli before and enjoyed their dinner service (the scallop quenelle is one of my all time favorite dishes). I really hope they improve, but I can’t see myself coming here again when the area has so many better options.

Wonderful restaurant! The servers and kitchen are very committed to giving you a good dining experience. The brioche with a liver mousse inside was simply amazing as an appetizer. For entree, a standout was the tarte ratatouille, which was thoroughly unexpected but delicious in every way. I would return to pasjoli for a special occasion.

The short rib was perfect! The service was on point, Simona behind the bar knows her wine, she had great recommendations on the food. I will definitely be back. This is my 1st 5 star rating. I went back for a 2nd night in a row… their NY steak is to die for.

It was not a great experience. The menu is limited unless you like fish. The service was like at a cheap restaurant. They were on us to order immediately. When we said we weren’t ready, they came back in one minute. My friend ordered the steak, and it was undercooked, tough and surrounded by fat.The “caramelized” onions were not lovley and sweet but burnt and bitter. I ordered the quail, which was OK but not fantastic. Overall, it was a very disappointing night. The Michelin star was rightly taken away from them.

An amazing dining experience. The food is sublime and the service is exemplary. The staff went above and beyond to make it possible. A member of our party stepped out for a few minutes right before main courses were brought to the table, we asked if they could take them back to the kitchen and keep them heated; instead, they remade all the main courses again!! Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed. It’s worth every penny.

We ordered the tartare de bœuf and the canard à la Rouennaise à la presse. Both were just okay. The duck was cooked well but there was a blood clot on one of the slices that wasn’t very appetizing. Our cocktail was delicious but I don’t think we will be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.
