No idea why this place doesnt have better reviews! I came here for the pan con chicharron because I had had it for the first time in a Peruvian part of New Jersey. It was incredible here! The bread was so so good as well as everything else. Service was great as well and they were very accommodating to non-spanish speakers. I had no idea this place was less than 10 minutes from me for as long as Ive lived over here and I’ll be coming regularly as much as I can as well as inviting friends and family!

The bolillos here are enough to keep me coming back! Be aware that the space is small, but you can dine in – so if you’re okay with possibly bumping elbows with other diners then you’ll be okay. Otherwise, definitely take food to go.

Pollo la brasa here is still the very best! Sadly, they still do not seem to understand how to double fry the potatoes so the French Fries are crispy.

This a place were you can find basic Peruvian condiments and food. I come here for the pan Frances, you can’t find it anywhere else. I have tried the pollo a la brasa and I am not impressed with it, there is something missing in the taste to make it like the classic norkys or any other pollería. The people is super nice but my impression is that they are not Peruvian so they don’t know much about the Peruvian products they sale, maybe if they educate themselves about it will be better for the business. The empanadas are okay but not Peruvian at all.

While it is still a favorite of mine, the staff is very unknowing of peruvian food. The wait time for one pollo a la brasa was over 50 minutes and there is a extreme lack of variety of products. I will probably still return to this place due to the accessibility and location but as time goes on it slowly loses it’s luster.

The bread is amazing but yesterday I order a rotisserie chicken and a bread with chicharrón and both were disappointing. Both meals taste old and reheated. Terrible food

Good food but, I didn’t appreciate that I ordered a tamal plate $3.99 andI I got charged for a chicharron plate $6.99. The cashier said “I don’t know why the computer charged you but, I can’t do nothing.” I was over charged & left with a NASTY experience! First time trying this place & NEVER again will I return. It was also hot & humid inside.

I called to let the lady know that she forgot the aji, I ordered extra and asked twice, she said to come back, I said I am too far, I drove there specifically to get the chicken, French fries and aji. She said, OK! Bye! and hung up on me. Nice customer service…
