Today was so much Better at Sullivan’s had a super great waitress. The all you can eat Is catfish was spot on. Mac and cheese was good. So much better experience today without the Red headed girl that works there. Atmosphere was so much better everyone seemed to care about everyone in there. Making sure that they had exactly what they needed. If you have not been there. You definitely need to check them out.

Local staple but not sure why – not convinced mashed potatoes are homemade (same for mac & cheese). Maybe because of great priced meat n 3. Atmosphere is like you’re home. Catfish not too bad. Great fried okra. Great gravy and sweet tea. Friendly staff.

Many years ago I worked at Sylvan Park Restaurant in Nashville, TN. I was in high school and made money to help my granny out.. My pay was $1.75 an hour. 51 years later I dined in at the location in Murfreesboro, TN. I must say that the atmosphere is much different. There was no welcoming atmosphere more like hurry up, eat, and get out, you are not worth me checking on you. I normally leave a $20 tip but for this young lady I left a $5 tip because she checked on her other guest asking if they needed anything. So sad to see and feel that people have not moved to the future. God please help America the country that I honorably served.

The food reminded me of school cafeteria food when I was in elementary school. Served in a partitioned plate. I had the country fried steak (nothing more than a burger with gravy) Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The ‘steak’ had no flavor. The Mac and cheese was soggy and flavorless. The coleslaw was just OK.
