Love going for subs when we are in the area. Each purchase supports local firefighters! I had the chicken and dumpling soup. This is thick, hearty, and so warming for a cold rainy day- so good. Meat ball sub was very good. Just the right amount of sauce. The store is very clean. There are items of firefighting equipment to entertain the budding fireman/ woman in your family. I wish we had one in Buckhannon!

Firehouse used to be our favorite sub place, but, the last 2 times we’ve ordered there, there hasn’t been nearly as much on the subs. There’s only half the amount of meat (if that) and even the veggies are barely there. There was only one tomato on my 8 inch sub. They also put onions on it even though I asked for no onions. Unfortunately, it is no longer worth the price since the sandwiches are no longer full. So disappointing…

This location is such a hit or miss, but mostly misses recently. Bread was not toasted even though I asked for it extra toasted in hopes of it just being even a little bit toasted. My sub was missing 1/4 of its meat as well. When I ordered this past Saturday, it was great. But when I had ordered it two months previously, my sub had two hairs in it.

Placed an office order of 13 subs. The app wasn’t working, so had to call them in. Staff was incredibly polite and efficient. Subs were made perfect to order and numbered for convenience of handing them out.

Visited on 8/28/22, at 6:30pm. Not great for a typical Firehouse Subs fast food location. Food tasted fine, but the sub could have been built together a little bit better, however, this doesn’t really matter for a messy meal like a large sandwich. The employees could work on their customer service – if they were a bit nicer, this would have been a 5/5 rating review.
