Absolutely wonderful ownership. We shared our history and life together and had a genuine conversation. Aside from the great customer service; the pizzas were amazing. Trying takeout for a third time late July 2022, the most well received item was the calzone with cheese and sausage. A repeat of the buffalo chicken grinder was still good. The meatball grinder was a pass. Anytime a meatball grinder does not have actual meatballs but slices of a meat loaf instead, is not something I’d reorder. Still, if in the area and familiar with the menu, there is something to buy that’s worth the money.

It’s not everyday you make a mistake on your own order and the owner does what he can to make it right even though it was your mistake! ABC Pizza is by far one of the best pizza places in Winsted. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is AMAZING and outbeats any place I’ve had. It’s a must to get a Greek salad alongside any of their pies. The best local place around! I highly recommend this for take-out strictly.
