We really enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Service was very good and attentive. The staff was very friendly. Food was very good and fresh. Beautiful spot on the water in a fish house atmosphere. Don’t miss this place.

Had a great dinner with a beautiful sunset. Had the special, stone crab ravioli. Delicious. Nice to be away from the Marco busyness.

EXCELLENT! The food, the service, the friendly atmosphere. I had a veal chop on a bed of noodles in a sauce that was absolutely incredible! I’ve never tasted anything like that, so GOOD! I’m trying to cut down on carbs so usually I just sample a noodle or two, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to not devour the entire meal! Our waiter Dylan was very informative, patient, attentive. We also had a visit to our table by owner A.J. and Chef Mike. We will definitely be back, and bringing more friends!

This is a very classic Italian place. From the servers to the view, to the food, everything tasted fresh and amazing. I was even impressed by the taste and quality of the bread that they serve you at the beginning of your meal. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. Personally, I think the view is more enjoyable from the outside. The restaurant is right next to the water and it gives you a great view when the sun is coming down. We ordered octopus as an appetizer and it was delicious. The caesar salad is a MUST! It has a lemon touch to it that makes it amazing. We got pasta carbonara which was tasty and a Lasagna which is definitely a 10/10. Prices are a little high but the place and the service is worth the time and the experience. Will definitely go back!

Had lunch today at Osteria for the first time based on a recommendation. It was great. Not sure why they have less than 4 stars. My wife got a cosmopolitan and it was perfect. The waitress was super nice and shared her recipe for the drink. I had the pizza Napoletana and it was the best pizza I’ve had in SWFL. Delicious. My wife had the pesto pasta with chicken and it was great as well. Gonna come back and try dinner service.

Impressive all around especially since I believe this was their first Saturday after they opened!! The service was friendly and professional, the view is gorgeous overlooking the water and the food was exceptional. We already made a reservation for next Saturday. Make your reservations soon. This restaurant is going to be booked. The eggplant caponata with homemade flatbread was so good we ordered more, tho we had plenty of food coming. My husband had Vongole Cozze Arrabbiata for an app. I normally don’t prefer tomato sauces with seafood but I may order next time myself because the flavors were exceptional. I had the Rughetta salad which was tasty and lighter perfect for my appetite. For the entrees delicious homemade Fettuccine mare e monti and I had Grigliata Di pesce with beautifully cooked seafood including tender octopus, perfectly cooked calamari, and other seafood. Good wine list including wines by the glass. I am very intolerant of conventional wheat/gluten however they make most items from scratch from Italian flour. Yay for excellent homemade food from Italian wheat!

Liam was such an amazing server. If you go, he is worth requesting. He was very attentive and knew the menu. We even witnessed him accommodating an elderly couple on their way out.

I ordered the short ribs and it was nothing but fat. As I removed the fat and began piling it onto my salad plate, there ended up being a substantial mass of disgusting fat. There were no more than a couple of mouthfuls of actual meat. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said he would speak to the chef. A few minutes later, he brought the check for the full amount and said nothing. We basically paid $46 for a plateful of fat. Aside from the intolerable meal, the service was unprofessional, inexperienced and slow. We had a reservation, but they seated us at a table in the direct sun. When I expressed my concern, they lowered a windowed “rain curtain” which had a 12-inch canvas border around it. They used the bottom of the border to shield the sun. It had to be lowered ever so slightly so that the canvas border lined up with the sun glaring on the dining guest. As the sun began to set, we asked a passing waiter to lower it again. He said he can’t keep coming back every five minutes to lower the curtain! Perhaps they should invest in a shade that actually blocks the sun, or at least inform the customer they will be in direct sun throughout their meal. The person at the table behind us was experiencing the same problem. He finally got up to lower the curtain himself. After we ordered drinks we waited quite a while for our order to be taken. Once we ordered our meal, there was another long wait. With the hot sun beating on us, we were anxious to be served. The table ahead of us told their waiter they never received their salad. A couple of minutes later, their entree was served and they requested their salad be canceled. Just then, their salad appeared, which they declined. I assume there are some menu items that are good, but the beef short ribs is not one of them. If they can’t get it right, then take if off the menu. Unprofessional service, unacceptable meals and uncomfortable seating will probably not sustain this restaurant. We live in the Naples area and there are hundreds of excellent restaurants with quality food and service, and we will continue to patronize them.

Let me start by saying we did not have a reservation, but they were kind enough to let me and my friend get a table later in the evening. From there, it started to go downhill. We had three different weight staff that tried to take care of us not knowing that the Other wait staff had already gotten our drinks and orders. There were full trash cans and dirty glasses being paraded through the exterior dining area along with wait staff that seem to hate being there and fighting with each other on who did what work and who didn’t right beside us. Then there was the food. Calamari was fresh, but definitely rubbery. I had the risotto that tasted more like jasmine rice and the lobster tail was not only small, but very over cooked. My friend had the prawns that were also overcooked and very difficult to remove the shell. We had heard great things about the restaurant so very sad not to have this as an option for us in the future. In fairness, we will give it one more try, but our first experience here was beyond subpar. Didn’t help that dinner for two with one drink was over $200. I would have expected an excellent dining experience. It was anything but that.

Good -a bit pricey! Update* – My wife got violently sick on the stone crab ravioli. I was fine with the lobster ravioli. For the record, both were good – zero funky taste. Service and atmosphere is great. AJ, stop and review the reviews and work with your customers, not against- sea food sickness is a real happening reoccurrence. Please heed this message! This is not a good thing!! And hold the canned replies.
