Drove 25 minutes to go to my favorite pizza restaurant of 25 years to be served a ice cold pizza. Was told by manager they were so busy they couldn’t keep up with the ovens however there were two cars in the entirety of their parking lot and more workers than customers in the restaurant. I was told it would take 35 minutes and I showed up after 20 The other items I ordered were hot leading me to believe they served me an old pizza that had been sitting out. Manager did offer to replace the pizza or give a store credit but after driving for an hour total to get in return home I was not going to drive another hour to be duped into old pizza.

The pizza was excellent. Great sauce, great crust, and the meat, sausage and pepperoni, had excellent flavor. The service was disappointing. My bread with oil came out at the same time as the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, and for the first time in my life (and I’ve ordered a LOT of pizza) it came out half and half. The server never checked back on me and my drink remained empty. The food alone would get five stars but service cost a star.

Stopped here because we were in the area and were looking for a place to eat. We ordered a small pizza and weren’t impressed. The toppings were ample but they must have put the sauce on it with an eyedropper resulting in a dry, tasteless pizza. Nothing to write home about.

Been a native of Ledyard for over 20 years. This place has gone down hill. Every time we order, we give them the benefit of the doubt , wait a couple months hoping it will get better and no. Hardly any cheese, 1/3 was just sauce. I think we have to say goodbye.

We had Valentino’s cater for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made. As a former employee, I have always had a deep respect for Jackie and her family, but she and her team went above and beyond what we could have ever expected! Our venue required that catering complete many services that were not typically a part of what Valentino’s offered, but Jackie said yes without hesitation and did everything she could to make our day perfect.

Visiting the area and wanted to find a non-chain restaurant for dinner. Valentino’s was mentioned in a web site search. Fabulous luck. The food and service were fabulous and staff (Jackie and Kiara) were amazing. Highly recommend and when back in the area, would definitely revisit.

I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff. They checked on us often. My date was impressed as well with his food. He ordered off menu and loved the chicken dish. I had the manicotti. Serendipitously the sauce was in a heart shape. Such a good sign for such a great place. I also enjoyed the garlic bread!

I ordered chicken Valentino, and a spinach calzone. I received grilled chicken on pasta, and a plain calzone. Don’t order take out from here. If you want to eat here, eat in the restaurant. That way you can send it back.

Don’t waste your money. Just shy of ten dollars for a grinder. Maybe wouldn’t be so bad if they actually put more than a thin layer of pepperoni on it, as well as not stale bread. What a sad excuse for a grinder.

We got 5 pizzas today to have a little get together after Christmas. They had barely any cheese or toppings. I was really disappointed to spend $80 for some dough, a little bit of sauce and a sprinkle of cheese. Expected a lot more from a place that has been around as long as they have. Won’t be back.
