Glad I discovered this. I did not realize there was an old “down town” Watertown. On periodic business trips I have only been on the road of “same old same old”, that you see in every other strip mall town. This was a pleasant stop in a nice old building with nice atmosphere. “Lunch Box” was a crazy good value and very tasty. Really about $1 more than a McD lunch, and so much better of course. No comparison really, I am just saying this because good Japanese lunch I would have expected $16 – $24, for a light plate like this. Friendly staff, good tea. I will be back.

I’m traveling through town looking for something healthy to eat. This seemed an obvious choice. I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and attentive, and multitasked very well with other customers. I got the hibachi salmon. The food quality was excellent and the portion size was great. I’m 6’0″ 240 pounds and took a salmon filet with some rice and veggies to go for lunch tomorrow. I can’t really find a single complaint. If I HAD to find something, maybe if the price was a liiitle lower. Maybe $3-5 it would be better. But to be honest, I’ll pay a little more for quality, and that’s if I’m nitpicking. Overall, great experience, and I’d be happy to come back any time I travel through town again. Well done!

Delicious sushi! We bought 4 rolls, and everything was very good, but the Red Dragon Roll was superb. A variety of flavors that compliment and cycle through your mouth as you chew… just the right amount of kick without being too strong (even if you aren’t a big fan of spicy food). Definitely recommend, and I would return if in the area again.

Visiting during the weekday lunch was certainly busy(for good reason). The staff maintained attentiveness and hospitality while the food was fresh and and absolutely fantastic. Going there this afternoon, downtown was rather silent and we were one of only two tables. The food and service were exactly the same, amazing. Too often I’m unimpressed with the service industry of late but Downtown Sushi invigorated my thirst to to enjoy a meal outside of the home. Thank you and we will see you soon.

Highly recommend! We came here for our 4 year anniversary. Food was outstanding. First place I have been to that has more than two veggie sushi rolls they have a solid list to choose from. My veggie lomein was outstanding you can tell they cook everything with care. Everything was great will be back here again. I would even go out of my way to come here rather than another place.

We came in for lunch today and I had spicy crab, spicy shrimp and the Boston rolls. I’m not a huge Sushi fan but they have been some of the best roles I have had yet. The service was quick, excellent, and Friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and the bathrooms were very clean. Our waitress always had a great smile and was very helpful pointing out what everything was to our noobish selves. Definitely a positive experience.
