a hidden gem tucked away in an apartment complex! the sushi was SO good and fresh. lots of rolls to choose from, all clearly crafted with skill and love. service was quick and our takeout was ready for us as soon as we got there, so no waiting around which i appreciated a lot. can’t wait to go back soon ☺️

Food, service, and everything were excellent. I got a chirashi bowl, and a dragon roll. It was indescribably delicious. Of course, there’s no need to talk about the food quality. Briefly, it was the best sushi restaurant.

I’ve ordered sushi from the Bellevue location a few times and enjoyed it. The Kent location is quaint and cute. The sushi and wings were perfect for lunch and I’ll definitely be swinging by again.

Food was lack luster but service was quick and friendly. The musashi roll and spicy California roll had some weird honey mustard type hot sauce on them which was off putting but all rolls in general were pretty bland. The nigiri saved the day as the fish was all good quality and nice portion size. Overall I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon but it’s a decent option if you want to try something new nearby.

Good sushi, great value, great prices for the size of the sushi and rolls, and fast service. I’d order again.

Got the chicken teriyaki 3 skewers with steamed rice and slaw. Chicken was pretty much without flavor, BUT for so many watching their blood pressure, this would be a good alternative to not having salt overload as I didn’t taste any seasoning on the chicken. Rice was good and for a to-go order from the counter, it took about 20 mins to get the food at around 630pm on a Thursday. I’d suggest for to-go orders, ordering a good 30-40 mins ahead of time. Prices were less than I expected considering the location in that overpriced apartment building. Parking is extremely rare to find a spot.

This restaurant was just incredible. From food, service, and the atmosphere, everything was excellent. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant and you won’t regret to eat food at this restaurant. Thank you so much, Musashi!

First time trying Musashi’s and unfortunately was quite disappointed. Giving 3 stars because there was some good: portions, presentation, sides (soy, ginger, etc), rice quality, veggie roll, edamame. No problems there. But the fish… Eating sushi is about celebrating the qualities of fish, the freshness, the texture, the unique flavors of different fish. While the standard salmon and tuna pieces were okay, all others were atrocious. The ebi was half-withered and limp, the flesh was not plump. Albacore and yellowtail pieces were the worst of it, stiff and rubbery (yes the albacore is seared but it shouldn’t have been *that* stiff), flesh was degraded and grainy, and the biggest red flag: fishy odor. Sounds crazy but good, fresh fish does NOT smell fishy! And the smell of these pieces immediately put us off the rest of our nigiri. These fish slabs must have been thawed at least several days prior. The yellowtail was also shockingly red, did not look like yellowtail, and left a reddish stain on the rice it sat on, so it was dyed fish. The cooked salmon in my husband’s cheese roll was also mushy and sad, as if it were from a can. Providing fresh, quality fish is the core of a sushi restaurant, and sadly we will not eat here again knowing that will not be provided.

Great for take out… Prices were very reasonable. But I don’t think it’s a good place to eat with your family. I was more impressed with the QR code on the table than anything else. They should definitely replace the uncomfortable metal chairs that scrape the floor when you move them.

I have to be honest the sushi was not good. Idk how to explain it but it just did not taste good. Maybe old? Maybe I was there the wrong day. Decent price for the portion I got, I ate it so it wasn’t terrible but I won’t be back…maybe in a few months to see if they got their life’s together but I’m good off this place and sushi for awhile.
