Food was delicious and hot. The chicharrones were freshly made to order. The place is very clean and has a great atmosphere just like an “hacienda” Everyone was very friendly, we will definitely come back.

Very nice mom and pops restaurant, nice authentic homemade Mexican food. If you want a taste of home this is the place, stop looking anywhere else. The daily cooked Pork Skins are a must have!

The salsa is delicious! We had huevos Rancheros with Christmas. I thought the portions were a bit small. They didn’t refill.our coffee. The atmosphere is beautiful and friendly and very clean. I will visit again.

If you are in the mood for authentic, Chihuahua (Delicias-style) Mexican cuisine this is the spot. This family-owned restaurant is located in the South Valley, conveniently located off of the major streets Bridge and Isleta. The restaurant has ample parking. When you enter the restaurant, you receive a friendly greeting from the owners, place your order at the counter, and seat yourself where you choose. At the front there are two coolers where you can choose from an assortment of Mexican sodas in glass bottles. The restaurant décor is vaquero-style (wood beams, horse silhouettes, horseshoes, old wooden wagon wheels, and antique ranch tools). The music playing overhead reminds me of that of classic-era Mexican movies. The dining area is large and can accommodate both small and large parties. As for the food, it was fresh and delicious. The portions were good size, but not overwhelming. The restaurant serves burritos, menudo, carnitas, enchiladas, chilaquiles, chicharrones, and much more. My husband and I came here for breakfast and tried the chicharrones and red chile cheese enchilada plates. You can opt to add an egg to your enchiladas if you wish. Both entrees were promptly served with sides of beans and Mexican rice. The chicharrones were light, fresh and crisp. The red chile of the enchiladas tastes homemade, like my mom makes from red chile pods. The owner is attentive and checks on you regularly to make sure you are enjoying your food and dining experience. We definitely did enjoy, and will be back to try some of their other dishes.
