No need to travel to Italy or New York for authentic Sicilian pizza—This place is the real deal complete with family photos of Italian family on the wall. In all my years on earth, I have never devoured a better-tasting pizza—with the freshest vegetables, expertly blended sauces, and flavorful crusts. I had half of the Rosalie with Roma tomatoes, mushrooms and no red sauce. Other half Italian vegetable with artichoke, spinach, onion, and red sauce. Both were divine so I can’t pick a favorite. These pizzas are loaded compared to the chain store pizzas. The 28-inch pizzas have eye-popping HUGE slices at great value. Gabriel gave superb service and keeps all the condiments flowing. I especially appreciated the large lemon slices for my brewed ice tea. Beer selection was varied and kept ice cold. Apple cinnamon roll was delicious dessert. Large tree out front keeps the deck shaded and great for people-watching on the Drag. The sign outside says they are celebrating 30 years and I understand why—it’s simply the best pizza in Austin—or anywhere.

An absolute horrible experience. Ordered a calzone that was soup inside even though calzones aren’t supposed to have sauce inside. Couldn’t cut through it to portion it because there’s only plastic cutlery. Cheese wasn’t melted. Also found a small piece of teal plastic inside calzone. Pizza was similarly drenched and also the Caesar salad. Will never come back and likely will throw the rest away. What a waste of money. Do not go here. I guess it’s telling that it was completely dead at 6pm on a Saturday evening.

Great big slices for a good price. Really loved this place. Tons of different types of pizza to choose from. If you’re going with several people it might be cheaper to just buy an entire pie. The pizza is huge and delicious. Definitely try to hit this place whenever I can. So close to campus as well, so it’s very convenient. Will be back!

I love grabbing a slice of pizza from here. The Atmosphere always feels pretty chill. $5 for a big slice of pizza is totally a steal to me! This is definitely one of my favorite pizza joints The workers have always been polite, however a little more upbeat or smiles wouldn’t hurt

Home to the biggest slices of pizza I’ve ever seen in my life, was bigger than my hand. Pepperoni slice costs $4.25, tastes good. Option of dining inside or outside. I like the environment, would recommend.

Delicious, hot, fresh pizza on the main drag of UT Austin. We’ve been coming here for years and the quality of the pizza is excellent every time. They have a great outdoor patio and a dining area inside. Service is fast and very friendly and the owner truly cares about customers, service and quality. We will always keep coming back to Roppolo’s!!
