Ordered the crab cakes ($40) which were really good, but had to pay $5 extra for Caesar salad as a side and it wasn’t very good. Needed a lot of extra dressing. The baked potato came out with sour cream when that wasn’t asked for and they didn’t have bacon as an option for the potato. My son didn’t get his baked potato and we ordered sweet potatoes fries and they were undercooked. The service was prompt for the most part, but for the price of the food I was expecting better food and experience. The restaurant really needs an upgrade outside and inside. It’s really showing its age.

We love this place! They always have great food and specials. I was excited to try the Strawberry Spinach Salad, it was amazing with goat cheese and walnuts… so delicious. Their crab dip is my absolute favorite and comes with toasted French bread. The blackened prime rib was amazing- that’s the first time I’ve ever tried it prepared that way. We will be back!

I use to frequent this cozy fine dining restaurant quite a bit . I went there again and was surprised with a Valentine’s early dinner I only came short of a 5 star service because in comparison the etiquette of being waited on and cordially from those years have waned . One waitress with a busy schedule at 4pm. There wasn’t even a butter knife for my rolls so what the heck , I just used my dinner knife. But food and ambience was excellent

Nick’s is an elegant restaurant with live piano music while dining. Been here several times and sampled something different each time and it ALL has been delicious. Excellent cocktail bar as well. Nick’s is a gem in Hagerstown MD.

Good food. I love the Oysters Rockefeller. The dining room is dated. The mauve chairs and walls are drab , dusty, and stale smelling. The bar area is fresh and clean. Our mixologist was good at her pours and made one heck of a good dirty martini.

Was served a black steak tasting of charcoal. So I sent it back but to receive the same steak and even more charred. It was only then the waitress asked if I’d like another. Having already waited forever to receive the first steak, I declined and left hungry. Do not recommend. (This was the filet as well)

The crab cakes were excellent! Nice atmosphere and convenient access from the airport. A great place to fly in and get the proverbial “$100 hamburger”. They also won an award for best burger in Hagerstown last year.
