Came here for Father’s Day dinner. We hadn’t been in a long time. Things were definitely different than we remembered. Inside was pretty sparse for the downstairs dining area. Only a few tables tucked into a corner by the stage but the outdoor seating seemed to be more popular at the tiki bar. The food was average, nothing was bad but nothing really stood out either. The best item we got was the chicken tender platter.

Saw some posts about inside—ownership has changed not sure how you want to rate that. They passed us to Tiki Tim’s outside and it was great! The food (which comes from Globe) was excellent. The service was as good if not better.

We stopped by for a quick bite of lunch while visiting this historical little piece of Maryland. The atmosphere is wonderful, Our bar tender and server, Tom, was the best even though very busy. I ordered the Smash burger and when I received it, before my husband meal was ready, I took a bite and the burger was very pink. So I thought maybe just me so I cut into it further and realized the top and bottom had been browned of course under a weight. But that was where the brown ended literally not even an eighth of an inch was cooked. The rest appeared to by raw as if just from the meat market. I don’t mind a burger medium well but this was barely rare. I asked Tom and of course he was more than willing to get me a done burger. Problem was my husband was now done his meal and mine just came out. My only issue was if the cooks would have left my burger cook while my husband’s meal was cooking it would have been done. Tom was excellent and went above and beyond to assist.

Waitress was more concerned with the bar patrons than the table patrons. She was super nice when she finally made her way over…….

We had a large group (more than 10) and they did a GREAT job of accommodating us. The food is reasonably priced and very good!

“America’s Coolest Small Town” now has the coolest bar/restaurant on the eastern shore – possibly the state.

While in Berlin today, I stopped in to grab a take out lunch from the Globe. The service was fast and friendly, and I desperately wanted to stay for a drink cuz they had some that looked amazing! My food was prepared quickly, and the cute guy working made sure to hook me up with some sauces. The pulled pork sandwich was awesome (especially with the Carolina sauce), and I am always nuts over homemade chips! These did not disappoint. Sorry my picture is of a half eaten sandwich; I couldn’t wait!

John, our server, was a hero! We enjoyed a live show and also had dinner, cocktails and took advantage of a great draught beer selection. It was a little crazy when we seated ourselves but John came over and immediately assured us “I’m John and I’ll take care of you tonight….” and….. he did!
