NOPE! Never again for this Irish “themed” pub & grill. Came into this place on a Saturday afternoon with really high expectations. I should have lowered them tremendously for what was the reality of our meal. Overcooked chicken wings in a dark, tasteless sauce and a pile of greasy, straight from the freezer, onion rings. We spent over $35 for these disappointing wings & rings. Don’t know what this would cost in Ireland, but for a Rockport, TX dive, this is not the place.

We had a Reuben, which they (chef’s kiss) make their own corned beef for, and meatloaf plate, which comes with a zingy (cherry?) sauce, peas and potatoes. Meatloaf was tasty, sturdy and generous, not mass produced muck. As we drove away we were already planning our return visit, and not two weeks later we’ve already been back. We had the same things except we flip-flopped who ate what. Still yummy. Very comfortable place. Super nice staff. Very fair pricing. There’s a view, a “blarney” stone, and a fun peep holed door. Side note: I’m eating onion rings dipped in ranch dressing from here on out; waitress’s suggestion I’m glad I tried.

I’ve been to Rockport a few times already have never tried. This place was recommended to me by my friend. I’m glad he did everything look taste homemade had the meatloaf was awesome. The shrimp and chips was good. We also had the pretzel was also good nice employees white staff friendly come check it out.

Outdoor patio with bay and harbor views is recommended. Chicken pesto sandwich is better than the burger, Reuben is also good, especially with a cold Guinness.

Love this place if I’m not at The Boiling pot for seafood. Then this is my place to go when I’m in town. Don’t waste your time with other places in the area. Trust me, they are just overrated.

The service was pleasant, and the environment was outstanding. The server and I forgot the gentleman’s name has great houspitataliy and made it a fine dining experience. Referring to a great beverage and also very inciteful on the dishes you are interested in and recommendations. I had the Shepard pie, which is the best pie I ever had, truly a great place to grub and sip…. not to say the view is spectacular!
