Unfortunately they were out of a lot of drink options on a Monday evening.

Went for late lunch/happy hour around 3pm. Food was very good, fresh and came out hot, portions were great for the price. Chicken wings excellent, friend gnocchi very good, and buratta was good. Wasn’t super happy with the service. They kind of forgot about me though. I had to waive down the server after waiting 7-10 minutes. But I think the GM was there and didn’t really do much but stand and chat. Not 100% it was the GM but it was someone who worked there and I got supervisor vibes. Also, server dragged feet when moving around which I found a tad bothersome.

We were intrigued by their $15 bottomless brunch and decided to give it a try. There is an option for a prefix menu which is $39 and you pick one item from each section, plus an additional $15 for bottomless mimosas. The other option is to pick one item from the pizza or brunch entrees plus the $15 for bottomless mimosas. The prefix would be best if you’re in the mood for more food. If you prefer just one entree then the second option is best.

Please note I am giving Via Sophia a solid 3.5/5 rating. I went for brunch with a friend yesterday. I had really high hopes but left disappointed. Here are my pros and cons!

Extremely classy restaurant with great decor and a good energy environment. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. I got cheaper wine and it was still perfect for the occasion. I really liked our server because he knew that we were low maintenance and let us take our time to enjoy the experience but still delivered everything quick and asked us if we needed anything else without interrupting conversation.

Food was great, service could of been better. Didn’t know they had a pizza menu till after we ordered and seen it, then asked for it. Server was very non engaged with us. Ended up charging one card when we were trying to split 3 ways. Food was great

Only had cocktails with amazing service from a young woman from VA. She made excellent gin and tonic with a new gin to me, #Engine an Italian gin, clean and smooth! Yummy

The food is just OK, it’s just a meal. The portions are smaller so it’s perfect for date night/if you have somewhere to go and you don’t want to carry left overs. The service is great, drink menu is nice. A tad bit pricy but you’re paying for the vibe.

We had the 3 course meal which was a bit expensive for the portion sizes, especially since that was the only menu offered that day. I was also disappointed with the lack of Vegetarian options on the 3-course menu. The dessert, Chocolate Budino was too strong and needed more Caramel or Peanut Butter to mellow it a little.
