Everything at the buffet was equally delicious and well prepared. I loved the momas! The environment was simple and the space was a bit large for the number of customers but it was very clean and very comfortable. I appreciated the decorating touches they have added to the space. I bet they can host wonderful large celebrations here! I also liked the south east Asian music they had at a nice volume in the background. The wait staff was very helpful and friendly.

My husband and I are always on the lookout for an authentic experience – and Everest sure delivers! The chili momos were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Better than the Nepali restaurant in Louisville. We also had a Nepali Thali and a curry noodle soup. Everything was outstanding and the kind owner made a special spicy sauce for us and showed us the mural he was working on in the front room. Just came back today to try the buffet and everything was so flavorful and each dish had a distinct flavor!!! 10/10 and hope Lexington will continue supporting this wonderful restaurant and kind people.

Caveat: I’m not a celiac but I do need to avoid gluten. This place is great because they have a delicious lunch buffet and like eighty percent is labeled as gluten free. There’s also a great variety of options at varying spice levels.

I’ve only been to this place two times but I love it already . First off they have great decorations and choice of music. Asides from that they have great food and friendly staff , lots of delicious options to choose from with lots of variety; even vegetarian. The portions are very fulfilling and you’ll be sure to go home with leftovers and cravings for more .

Came for lunch- there is a buffet on the weekend and lunch specials Mon-Thursday. We came at 12:15, and we were the only people in the place. It didn’t start to get crowded until about 1:30.

A coworker told me about this restaurant recently. On our visit, we took suggestions on what to order from our server. The chicken chili momo (fried dumplings in what tasted like tandoori spices) and the goat Nepali thali (plate with rice veggies meat and soup) were delicious. Along with a mango lassi and gulab jamum for dessert. The gulab jamum balls have a soaked corn bread kind of texture, very yummy. The prices were fantastic for the amount of amazing food we received. *Photo is of the momo after a few bites had been quickly inhaled.*
